wychyross's GameLogBlogging the experience of gameplayhttps://www.gamelog.cl/gamers/GamerPage.php?idgamer=1109Columbine Massacre (Other) - Wed, 28 Oct 2009 20:57:51https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4006I think i finished the core part of the game today, because it seemed to enter what i think was Dylan's doom levels. I was surprised at the game, as it was not what i expected at all. It did, however draw out strong emotions with the slideshow about the two boys and the events that day. I don't think I wouldve played this game if i wasn't required to, it definitely brought on some unwanted questions of moral actions. Also, why did no one notice these kids bringing bombs into school? it just doesn't make senseWed, 28 Oct 2009 20:57:51 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4006&iddiary=7514Columbine Massacre (Other) - Tue, 27 Oct 2009 19:47:56https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4006As I began again after being thoroughly frustrated not knowing where to go, I once again ran into a similar problem as yesterday... I could not figure out where to go once I planted the bombs in the cafeteria. After another 30 minutes of exploring, I looked south, and found the park I was supposed to go to. This is where all the "fun" began, as it was killing time. I grew rapidly bored with the "pokemon" style of fighting, where I can chose what the character does rather than my preferred first person shooter. I didn't realize that eric and dylan could die, and eventually they did once I unleashed uber destruction upon the school. I pause the game for now as I must start again from the parkTue, 27 Oct 2009 19:47:56 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4006&iddiary=7487Columbine Massacre (Other) - Mon, 26 Oct 2009 21:17:53https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4006I started out playing the game not knowing what to expect. Seeing as it was a download-able game, my expectations were not high in terms of the quality of the game-play. I did however, manage to spend an hour trying to get the bombs planted and get out of the school without being detected. Apparently, Columbine had it out for me that day, as ever hall monitor and camera in turn decided to catch me. One thing I did notice while I was playing this was that I wasn't relating it to the actions that actually happened, but I was thinking about it as though it was a game that I wanted to beat. It shocked me when I thought about it, that I could perform these actions without thinking about what really happened to those people in that school.Mon, 26 Oct 2009 21:17:53 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4006&iddiary=7478Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Tue, 22 Sep 2009 00:02:06https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3881Well, today I resorted back to my old ways, and just completely went off on everything and anything that happened to cross my path. I then started killing police officers as they came at me because of the destruction I was causing. No one was sparred. I eventually died, and had to start over, but, I got my four stars back quickly. It was highly entertaining, and I'm not going to lie, it definitely allowed me to relieve some of the stress that I had pent up from the day. This game is amazing, and, the more I play it, I get accustomed to the various areas as well as the best places to snipe from.Tue, 22 Sep 2009 00:02:06 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3881&iddiary=7269Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Mon, 21 Sep 2009 00:57:06https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3881After I put the game down for a day, I picked back up where I left off... mass murder and destruction. This time though, I tried to stick to mass murder and destruction IN the missions, instead of just for fun. Once I did this, I started to understand the plot line a little better, and could somewhat see what was going on. CJ is a gangsta from the east coast who comes back to bury his mother, only he has to deal with a corrupt police officer who keeps interrupting his and his homies every day activities (it was then that I realized why there was a helicopter following me). I also have to indulge that I am fan of finding cheats in the game. I usually start with random words, and in my attempts, found a cheat for a rocket pack. It allowed me to have even more total desecration, although it still counted as a vehicle.Mon, 21 Sep 2009 00:57:06 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3881&iddiary=7261Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Fri, 18 Sep 2009 23:03:54https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3881I started playing San Andreas yesterday, and have found it addicting. I really can't stop playing it, and I often get distracted from following the missions and activities because of the various other things I can do (i.e. in my most recent distraction, I began collecting motorcycles, and figured out a away to get more than two to fit into my garage). I noticed that this game is not as graphic as I thought it would be, but seeing as it is several years outdated in video game settings, it does seem graphic for its time. I also noticed that the game seems to be very stereotypical, that all cops hate black people, as seen in the introduction clip. Out of a 1-10 scale, I'm giving this one a 9, not a 10, mostly because I can't follow the flow of the missions, which is not a problem of the game. I'm going to continue being addicted to it, and I have already racked up almost four hours of total play time.Fri, 18 Sep 2009 23:03:54 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3881&iddiary=7251
