When I left there I went down the hall to look in more rooms. I eventually went into the bathrooms and cleared them out. I finally reached the library and proceeded to gun down more students. I got to the top of the map and that is when the cops arrived. After this both characters killed themselves and I thought that was the end. But I was a little freaked out by the fact that I am still playing them when they are down in hell. I kept die quite often and started to think that I am suppose to lose at this point. This part was really messed up to me because I thought it was just wrong to put this in the game. I feel that it is not right to put that last bit in for the families of the two boys.Thu, 29 Oct 2009 14:44:14 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4023&iddiary=7555Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Thu, 29 Oct 2009 01:51:11https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4023So I started where I left off right after I geared up. I head to the hill and wait until the bombs do not blow up as planned. So then there are people out in the parking lot and this is where I get my first taste of action in the game. Everyone just drops like a bad habit and it is a little disturbing because even though this is a really poor looking game, it still creeps me out to know this kind of thing happened. After I clear out the parking lot I make my way into the school. I clear out almost classroom but leave a few people in some to conserve ammo. I finally go into the cafeteria and make my way to the fire alarm. Everyone runs around much faster and it is a lot harder to chase them down. Again from the dialogue of the boys I wondered what went through the heads as all this was happening. Were they enjoying it like in the game or emotionless? The whole thought really scares me because things like that are still possible. After I cleared the cafeteria I was already forty-five minutes into it so I stopped.Thu, 29 Oct 2009 01:51:11 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4023&iddiary=7529Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Wed, 28 Oct 2009 19:36:29https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4023In my first half hour I started very slowly and tried to explore as much as I could. When I touched the pizza box in the basement, this took me into a flashback on the two kids. As the two kids talked about the bombs and the guns they were going to get I wondered how the two guys really talked about doing this. Were they really that happy to be killing people and setting off bombs? This is something I kept in my head as I went on through the game. I finally got to the school and made my way into the cafeteria and after a few times of getting caught I had realized I forgot to grab the damn bombs. After I went back to grab them and place them in the cafeteria I made my way to the park. As the two were talking about all the people they were going to kill, the one thing I could not help but think about was the music that was going on in the background of this scene. The say to me was upbeat and just really threw me off as the kids talked about killing people. It started to make me feel if the kids were actually having fun killing the students. After this scene my half hour was up and I stopped.Wed, 28 Oct 2009 19:36:29 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4023&iddiary=7510Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Wed, 23 Sep 2009 22:29:13https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3888Started the game up and started playing again but this time I decided not to play the missions and just use some cheats I found to really put the destruction down. Got Full health every time, all weapons and ammo, and spawning a jet pack. You know the city is going down hill when you see gang members in the sky bringing down hell with automatic weapons. So now that I have played through some of the missions and had my own little fun, I have come to a simple question about this game. Does the Grand Theft Auto series and any other violent game encourage violence to its players? This is what a lot of politicians and protective parents think when they first hear the few lines in the story or just watch two minutes of game play. I feel that some games do promote this and can have a influence on kids who play these games, which is why the parents must come in and remind their child that it is only a game and that they should not try any of this in real life. The problem is not the game companies, the problem is the parents are not doing their job. If the game is not intended for their thirteen year old and they saw the ESRB rating, why did they buy the game in first place? Once the parent sees what game their child is playing they automatically blame the companies and not them selves for not reading about the game before hand. So i believe violent games can invoke violent behavior and sometimes violent actions if not monitor by the parents, not the game companies.Wed, 23 Sep 2009 22:29:13 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3888&iddiary=7318Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Tue, 22 Sep 2009 01:01:38https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3888SO tonight I got back on and did the whole thing where I played a few missions but then in one of the missions I had to do a few drive bys and thought, "I wonder how many people I could run over before I died. So after that mission i stole a car then started the fun. I drove every where I could and just dominated everyone. I got to about 70 kills before my car exploded and I was too lazy to get out the car so I died and thought this was a good spot to end. :)Tue, 22 Sep 2009 01:01:38 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3888&iddiary=7271Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Mon, 21 Sep 2009 01:00:39https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3888So I have just started the game and the first thing I said was “Wow this looks like crap”. Of course when I played this game when it first came out I am sure I thought the graphics were just alright, but now as I play it I cannot believe that I actually thought this looked alright at one point. Besides the whole graphics bringing back nice memories, I had forgotten how much fun it is to just run around and just do stupid stuff. I did a few missions but I spent about thirty minutes just running around and trying to get as many stars as I could for some reason. It was fun doing bad stuff because I know that I should not do that stuff in real life but it is nice to be able to in a video game. Just allows more freedom for the player, which everyone always loves.Mon, 21 Sep 2009 01:00:39 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3888&iddiary=7262
