It didn't help, so I spent the rest of my game session searching for the right place to put the bomb and while I was doing that had yet another reflection about the game. It was about my first initial mention of how the game depicts all the school students as enemies. It made me think about how the game creator also makes a connection to bullying. It as if he makes a call to action toward students feeling bullied or a justification for the whole ordeal. This game , though still tasteless in my opinion seems to have some benefits, at least in the fact that it vents some frustration.Wed, 27 Oct 2010 13:36:51 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4421&iddiary=8328Columbine RPG (PC) - Mon, 25 Oct 2010 17:19:57https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4421I still make much progress in the game, I was continually stuck on the cafeteria scenario, but even still I was able to reflect on more aspects about the overall tone of the game. As I was stuck , I looked into my inventory for something I thought would help, and I realized that I still had the marilyn mason cd and the first person shooter game with me and decided to see what would happen if I used it. Sure enough it boosted my attck and HP points and it made me wonder about the meaning behind that feature. It was as if the game was suggesting that listening to marilyn mason and playing those kinds of games give you just the boost you need to go out anf kill people or plant a bomb.Mon, 25 Oct 2010 17:19:57 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4421&iddiary=8257Columbine RPG (PC) - Sun, 24 Oct 2010 20:25:53https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4421Before playing this game i already knew I was in for something tastless. The fact that there was a game made about columbine filled me with annoyance and an expectation of a game that was more storyline than it was gameplay. Sadly enough it was more about the story, but the gameplay wasn't all that bad. I only got up to the challenge of planting the bomb in the cafeteria and I have to say that it was pretty hard not to get caught. It was hard to know what I was suppose to be looking out for each time I went to the hallway leading to the cafe. I would always gain a few inches closer to the end of the hall and then I would be stopped by student or camera. It weird that they made that way though; making the students and the cameras the "enemy", it kind made you realize that game was being told from a specific perspective.Sun, 24 Oct 2010 20:25:53 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4421&iddiary=8240Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) - Wed, 22 Sep 2010 09:38:49https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4328yesterday was my last day playing and I have to say that I sort of enjoyed the thrilling aspect of game play. I got better at driving the cars and I was even able to pick up a weapon that day, which wasn't' the case for any other days. Although i'be made qualms about the game's storyline I, which I still feel to be valid, I can also see why people love this game.Wed, 22 Sep 2010 09:38:49 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4328&iddiary=8118Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) - Sat, 18 Sep 2010 16:00:04https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4328It seems that on my second try of playing this game, I got just a little better at it and sub sequentially the game progressed, which kind filled me adrenaline; the kind you feel when you reach a new level in the game play. I was tense the first time I started playing, but now I was a little more relaxed and ale to enjoy more features of the game. But honestly there wasn't much to enjoy, especially when your a girl and the character your playing is always male. There were women approaching or cat calling my character, which would have been a cooler bonus for a male player, but as female player it didn't really do much for me except annoy me. I guess it leaves me to wonder why Grand Theft Auto has not a least one playable female character.Sat, 18 Sep 2010 16:00:04 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4328&iddiary=8062Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) - Thu, 16 Sep 2010 12:32:27https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4328I just started playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and in fact this is my first time playing the game or any game on Play Station 2. The game was enjoyable like most video games, It was thrilling to steal cars, drive them, shoot people, and even fight them. This game seemed to mix elements of a lot of other games I played in the past, kike Grand Turismo or Tekken. There was one thing though that kind of bothered me. It was the character stereotyping and generalizing. As my character walked around and drove, all I could here were the other characters talking and I didn’t even need to look at them to match the dialogue with the people. The things they were saying seemed to come straight out of a rap video, a movie, or other things; it all seemed cheesy at best and offensive at worst.Thu, 16 Sep 2010 12:32:27 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4328&iddiary=8056
