This area of the game is all about sex, gambling, more killing, and more drugs. One of the missions require you to dress up as a Gimp which to some people would really gross out. This final area in the game represents Las Vegas with the "new strip" and the "old strip". Both contain flashing lights, casinos, clubs, pretty women, fast cars, and violence. This area may be prettier than the ghetto I started out in but the things that go on are no better than the previous areas. Overall this game is very fun if you are not offended easily because this game heavily relies on stereotypes, sex, and violence. This is not something I would let children play as they would not know it is fictional.Tue, 21 Sep 2010 13:46:30 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4326&iddiary=8099Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Thu, 16 Sep 2010 22:14:43https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=43262nd playthru of San Andreas was tonight. This time I started a save file further into the game where I am in the area called San Fierro which it's real life counter part is San Francisco. The streets are all hilly and its more upper class people rather than ghetto people from Compton. The reality is still kill and steal to survive though. That concept will never change in a Grand Theft Auto game. While in San Fierro CJ works with the Triads (chinese mafia) to further the progress in the game and make more money. By now in the game things start to get old because it is still just killing people and in the story you kill two of your friends Big Smoke and Ryder. Otherwise no new issues come up but everything you are still doing is against most people's moral codes even if it is to save your brothers life. CJ is killing for agents, transporting weed for Tenpenny the crooked cop, or killing for the Triads. Doesn't matter what the reason it is still to be considered wrong.Thu, 16 Sep 2010 22:14:43 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4326&iddiary=8058Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Wed, 15 Sep 2010 20:57:40https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4326Today I revisited Grand Theft Auto San Andreas which I originally played when I was fifteen years old in high school. The game to me is very fun and highly entertaining even though the game is ultra-violent, portrays many stereotypes which often do play themselves out, and is very unrealistic. In the game you start out as a black male coming back home which resembles early 90's Compton for your mother's funeral. Shortly after your visit your mother's grave you are attacked by a rival gang and you realize how messed up things are since you have been gone. CJ (main character) decides to stay home and rejoin his old crew which consists of his brother Sweet, friend Big Smoke, and another friend Ryder to retake their territory and fight to just stay alive. I only completed the first mission which was to ride home on a bike while being attacked only to earn respect. The rest of the time I played I killed a few hookers in front of my home in order to earn some fast cash, stole some cars, and killed a few policemen. While that may sound horrible and I have no morals, I do know it is wrong but, it is just a video game. This game may have lots of unethical, immoral, and questionable things in it but, it is also nice to hear a lot of great early 90's rap, rock, and hip-hop music. The way the surroundings look in the game makes it truly believable that you are in Compton, California. If you are to watch Ice Cube's movie Friday the surrounding in that movie is very alike of the game's. In the game Compton is represented as a ghetto area with high crime and it seems that anywhere CJ goes it just leads to violence. CJ may kill, rob, or steal cars but, during the story it is his means to an end. CJ wants to escape and help his friends and family escape the harsh reality of the ghetto but, it is not a easy task as the game shows. Anyway that is just the intro to the game and Compton is only one of the three main areas in the game. There are two others which I will explore in my next two game logs.Wed, 15 Sep 2010 20:57:40 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4326&iddiary=8054
