apank21's GameLogBlogging the experience of gameplayhttps://www.gamelog.cl/gamers/GamerPage.php?idgamer=1590FallOut: New Vegas (360) - Mon, 03 Sep 2012 23:57:02https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5093Minor spoiler alert(does that go without saying?) I played through about 2 hours of gameplay. I was hoping for more small detailed pieces of information scattered throughout the maps. In the beginning of the game, I was picking up medical clipboards and anything that looked like it had potential to have information to read(like elder scrolls games). I was disappointed when I realized the clipboard was not readable. After playing a game like skyrim, I bet I will be continually let down when I don't see detailed lore works and history in the game Im playing. I started on hardcore with the realistic thirst, hunger, sleep limits set. I believe that games should be played on the hardest difficulty to experience what the makers were truly trying to make the player enjoy. I've found this to be true with skyrim, all of the halo games on xbox and xbox 360 as well as the recent COD games. I also have the impression that this is what the testers like specifically, as they are the most experienced players that say when games are too hard or lacking challenge. Is that why games are fun? I doubt the absence of a challenge would attract many gamers. Enjoyed so far: -collecting and testing different guns I find -Some of the characters are unique and funny. (No bark) -mysteries I have stumbled upon that have yet to be concluded. Cons so far: -No vehicle use(there are many motorcycles and vehicles lying around that seem like they would be fun to use while exploring). -I like the games to run fast and there to be minimal load times so I can get right to the action. This game seems slow at times in this regard. I wonder if the PC version runs faster(is so, by how much and how does the game play differently). (This entry has been edited1 time.
