sandee's GameLogBlogging the experience of gameplayhttps://www.gamelog.cl/gamers/GamerPage.php?idgamer=1604Mad Truckers (Arcade) - Fri, 30 Nov 2012 10:57:07https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5395The game I chose to play for GameLog fifteen was called Mad Truckers. It was a line racing game. The purpose of the game was to battle with crazy bosses while crashing every other vehicles and trying to raise business and also, to survive in the crash. The controls of the game were simple to follow and easy to understand. Basically, the left, right, up, and down arrows were the only keys used and they were used for moving the truck. The only rule this game had was to make sure other vehicles were crashed without crashing your truck. I personally did not enjoy playing Mad Truckers. It was too boring for my liking. The scenery was dull and unattractive. It had no landmarks, and beautiful scenes which attracted me. The sound effect was boring to listen to. It had the same sound to it. It got really annoying at some point which made me stop playing the game. Overall, in my opinion, the entire game was boring to play and the game idea of the game was extremely uninteresting and boring. It would have been better if, at least, there were many trucks to crush and also, if the level of speed was increased a little bit to make it more interesting and challenging to play. If I had to personally recommend Mad Truckers to anyone to play, I will honestly not recommend it to anyone. It was just too unexciting, uninteresting, and pain in the butt to play.Fri, 30 Nov 2012 10:57:07 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5395&iddiary=9683Highway Madness (PC) - Tue, 27 Nov 2012 12:38:28https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5381For GameLog fourteen, I chose to play Highway Madness. It was a city racing game. The aim of the game was to race on the highway with many other cars in a heavy traffic by passing the other vehicles and collecting money, repairs, nitro boosts for fame and fortune. The mechanics and instructions were easy to follow and understand. The right, left, up, and down arrows were used to move the car, the spacebar was used to brake, while the “z” key was used to nitro boost. The key to playing Highway Madness was to avoid collision of your vehicle to the other vehicles. It was also about collecting enough bonuses because with that bonus, you could buy new and better cars to race even faster. I played this game several times and won on so many occasions. However, I lost at times. But losing did not affect me to stop playing it rather; it motivated me to even try more to win. What I liked the most was the fact that you could pick your own car at the very beginning of the game. Most games do not offer that option. The environment where the game was played was colorful. It had trees, building, and other landmarks. The sound effect was actually pretty awesome to listen to. It was not boring and did not have the same sound effect to it. Overall, I really enjoyed playing Highway Madness and if I had to recommend this game to anyone, I would without a heartbeat. I would recommend it to anyone of any age whether old or young. It was worth the play, interesting, exciting, stress reliever, fun, and, overall, enjoyable. To say I did not love and enjoy playing Highway Madness would be a total lie.Tue, 27 Nov 2012 12:38:28 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5381&iddiary=9677Go Go Agent Zero (Arcade) - Fri, 23 Nov 2012 21:56:14https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5368The game I chose to play for GameLog thirteen was an action game specifically run and shoot game, Go Go Agent Zero. The purpose of Go Go Agent Zero was to shoot your enemies while running as fast as you could dodging the bullets of your enemies as well. The mechanics and instructions were easy to follow and understand. While the left and right arrows where used to shoot, the up arrow was used to jump while the down arrow was used to duck and slide and the spacebar was used to throw grenades. This action game automatically entered to the next stage whenever a level was completed. What I actually liked while playing this game was the fact that it was entertaining. I played it numerous times without getting bored as compared to other games I have played. On the other hand, what I did not like about this game was the fact that it did not show the gamer how to play the game. You have to figure out how to play it. The scenery where the game was played was attractive and colorful. It was made up of Rocky Mountains and roads. It displayed different colors to it. The game run smoothly on my computer. It had to breaks or pauses or whatsoever to it and this, in my opinion, made the game more interesting. Overall, I liked and enjoyed playing Go Go Agent Zero and if I had to recommend it to anyone, I would recommend it without a heartbeat. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys playing action games and games in general. It was fun while it lasted, was worth playing, interesting, stress reliever, entertaining, and exciting. I would encourage everyone to put their running shoes on in an attempt to shoot their enemies!Fri, 23 Nov 2012 21:56:14 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5368&iddiary=9659Just Shut Up and Drive (Arcade) - Sat, 17 Nov 2012 18:09:20https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5350“Just Shut Up and Drive” was the game I chose to play for GameLog twelve simply because of the title of the game. In my opinion, the title was catchy. The purpose of the game was to overtake your opponents while racing and finishing your race before the time runs out and earning extra points for overtaking your opponents closely or at a far distance. The instructions, on the other hand, and mechanics were easy to follow and understand. The left and right arrows were used to steer, the up and down arrows were used to accelerate and brake, and the “p” key was used to pause the game. Basically, the first level had to be completed before the other levels could be unlocked and played. This, I found to be interesting as it would “force” you to play all the levels because you would be curious to see how the other levels would be. The scenery where the racing took place was very beautiful. It was colorful and was made up of tress, landmarks, and buildings. The road, however, was very narrow to race on. This I found to be challenging because I ended up being out of the road at times and this slowed my game play down. The sound heard throughout the game play was unexciting and also, was a pain in the butt to listen to. It had the same sound to it and it really got annoying at some point. I had to mute the sound on so many occasions to enjoy the game. But, overall, I would highly recommend this game to anyone of any age. It was fun, interesting, stress reliever, and exciting. I would encourage everyone to hop in their cars and start racing. Playing this game is worth the try and worth the game.Sat, 17 Nov 2012 18:09:20 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5350&iddiary=9637Downtown Drift (Arcade) - Fri, 09 Nov 2012 12:29:34https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5330I chose to play Downtown Drift for GameLog eleven. Downtown Drift was a city racing game. Basically, the objective of the game was to defeat your opponents in a very fast-paced way by drifting around the corners of the road while speeding up and driving through the icons scattered picking up cash and opening mystery prizes. The mechanics and controls of the game were easy to follow and understand. The four arrows were used to drive, the spacebar and “x” key were used to drift, the “r” key was used to reset position, the “c” key was used to adjust the rear camera view, and the “m” key was used to mute and unmute the sound. What I liked the most was the fact that I could pick a track where I wanted the racing to take place. Also, I was able to choose a level, whether starting from a difficult or easy level. I was able to choose a car of my choice that also made the game worth playing. Also, after every win, it would automatically unlock the gamer to the next level as well as cool new cars. There was one lap at every level and the racing involved eight people including myself. The game was only available to a single player. Multi-players were not allowed and that I found interesting. The scenery were the game took place was really pretty. It looked like I was actually racing with my friends on a track. It had beautiful trees, bridges, and landmarks to it. Overall, if I were to recommend this game to anyone, I would do it without a heartbeat. I would recommend it to anyone of any age. It was fun, interesting, exciting, stress reliever, as well as pain reliever. To conclude, I encourage everyone to give this game a try because it’s worth the play.Fri, 09 Nov 2012 12:29:34 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5330&iddiary=9618Jumporama 2 (Arcade) - Thu, 01 Nov 2012 20:43:18https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5304For GameLog ten, I chose to play Jumporama 2. It was a horse riding game. The purpose of the game was to successfully ride the horse while jumping the hurdle without falling to the ground. The game had basic levels to it. The first level, of course, was to be completed successfully before moving to the next level. The first level also seemed very easy to complete. This, in my opinion, made the game interesting. The controls and mechanics were easy to apply and follow. The spacebar was used to jump while the left arrow was used to brake and the right arrow was used to accelerate. What I also found interesting was the fact that you could pick a country where you wanted the horse riding to take place. It had various countries to it. The scenery were the game was played was beautiful to watch. It was bright and colorful. It had tress, and other objects to it and this in my opinion, made playing the game worthwhile. The sound heard or played throughout was not annoying, matter of fact, it was enjoyable to listen to. It was not too repetitive at all. It had this rock beat to it. The game provided me with three chances to successfully complete a level and whenever this was not accomplished, it was game over for me. This I found not cheating at all. It basically gave me the chance to perfect my jump and move forward to complete other levels. Overall, I really enjoyed playing Jumporama 2 and I would highly recommend it to anyone, to babies, adults, teenagers, and old people. It was worth the play. It was interesting, exciting, not boring, released stress, and relieved pain. So to everyone thinking about playing this game, I would highly recommend to play it now because it’s worth the play.Thu, 01 Nov 2012 20:43:18 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5304&iddiary=9590Milk Truck (Arcade) - Sat, 27 Oct 2012 11:38:46https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5293Milk Truck was the game I decided to play for GameLog nine. It was an uphill racing game. The purpose of playing Milk Truck was to go to the super market, get some groceries and food, and deliver those items to your truck to the finish line before time runs up. However, there were big drops and hills on the route which made the ride challenging. This I found pretty interesting and tough. The overall mechanics on how to play the game was pretty easy to follow and understand. The up arrow was used to speed up, the down arrow was used to brake, and the left or right arrow was used to lean. The game had different stages to it. Whenever the goods got transported from one end to the other end without any difficulties, the next level became available to the gamer. Also, there were bonus points earned whenever the goods got transported to the finish line without them falling to the ground. The more the levels completed, the more the challenges became hard. The roads became more complicated to transport the goods which made some goods fall on the roadside even before it got to the finish line to beat the time. The scenery was pretty. It was colorful and for this reason, it made playing the game worthwhile and enjoyable. The sound heard throughout the game play was also relieving to hear. It wasn’t annoying to listen to. Overall, I loved playing Milk Truck and I would highly recommend it to anyone of any age; to babies, males, females, and even to older people. It was fun, exciting, stress reliever, interesting, pain reliever, and most importantly not boring. It was worth the play. I play it over and over without getting tired and bored of it.Sat, 27 Oct 2012 11:38:46 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5293&iddiary=95783D Motorbike Racing (Arcade) - Thu, 18 Oct 2012 21:28:12https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5271For GameLog eight, I chose to play, yet, another motor racing, 3D Motorbike Racing. The purpose of 3D Motorbike racing was to complete all three laps and the first at the finish line got the chance to unlock the other levels. There were six levels in total. I found the levels pretty interesting because they were all in different countries which meant that the racing would take place in those countries when unlocked. The instructions on how to play the game were pretty clear to understand and follow. The left key arrow was used to turn left, the right key arrow was used to turn right, the up arrow key was used to move forward, and the down arrow key was used to move backwards. I liked the idea that the players could customize their own motorcycles and choose the gender they want to be. It makes them feel involved with the game. What I also liked was the fact that the game could be played either by a single player or multi-players. Most of the games I have played did not have those options; therefore, it made the games boring. Also, I liked the fact that there was a map indicating how the road was. That made the racing a lot easier for me. Overall, there was nothing bad I disliked while laying 3D Motorbike racing. I enjoyed the game completely. If I had to recommend this game to anybody, I would. I would recommend it to people of all ages including old people and babies. It was worth the play. It was fun, stimulating, interesting, stress reliever, and enjoyable. On that note, I would encourage everyone to get his or her helmets on and get racing in this fast paced 3D Motorbike racing game.Thu, 18 Oct 2012 21:28:12 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5271&iddiary=9553Heat Rush 3D Racing (Arcade) - Mon, 15 Oct 2012 15:59:45https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5253After an hour play of Heat Rush 3D racing, I decided to relax my nerves because I got tired from playing the game so much. Heat Rush 3D racing was the game I chose to play for GameLog seven. It was/is a line racing game. The mechanics were easy to read and follow. All I had to do was to race across the country using my car, dodging other vehicles, and reaching the checkpoint before the timer run out. The instructions shown were pretty clear to follow and understand. The up arrow or “W” key was used to accelerate, the left or right arrows or “A” or “D” keys were used to steer, the down arrow or “S” key was used to break, the spacebar was used to do the turbo, and the mouse was used to select levels. Heat Rush was very fun, exciting, and interesting to play. What I liked the most was the fact that I could choose from a bunch of levels. The first level, Cocoa City, however, was to be completed first before advancing to the second level. Also, after completing the first stage, Cocoa City, I was allowed to unlock upgrades by getting achievements. I found this pretty cool because it avoided any sort of cheating during the game play. The scenery in which the game took place looked lifelike. It looked real to the point that I thought I was actually racing. There were trees, grasses, buildings, and other objects. Heat Rush was meant to be played by a single player, multiple players were not allowed. The game, however, ended when I could not reach the checkpoint before the time went out, and when I actually crushed so many times during the game play. Overall, I did not encounter any problems with the game. I enjoyed every bit of it and would recommend it to anyone of any age. In short, it was fun, interesting, and stress reliever.Mon, 15 Oct 2012 15:59:45 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5253&iddiary=9531Extreme Rally (Arcade) - Sun, 07 Oct 2012 21:29:45https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5234For gamelog six, I chose to play Extreme Rally. It was a rally racing game. I chose a racing game because those types of games excite me. The aim of the game was to finish up first in the race by going three laps. The controls were understandable, easy to follow, and use. The up arrow was used to accelerate, the down arrow was used to brake, left and right arrows were used to steer, “n” key was used to speed up, and the “p” key was used to pause the game. What I liked the most about Extreme Rally was the fact that you could choose your own car and the level you want. This makes it easy and fun for people who choose to play because they have options rather than they stuck with something they don’t like. The cars available were seven in total and the levels that were to be completed were six but one could start from any level, even starting from level six. The surroundings in which the racing took place looked artificial. The overall game was boring to play. It had no obstacles to it. It was just like an ordinary racing game. Also, the game itself paused so many times. This, however, made the game more uninteresting and frustrating. The music was also annoying to listen to. It had the same beat played over and over during the entire game. The game is played by a single player only with the computer. On the whole, I wouldn’t recommend Extreme Rally to anyone, not even to babies. The entire game play had no tactics to it. It was boring, uninteresting, not worth playing, and unexciting. I would prefer to listen to an annoying person rather than playing the game.Sun, 07 Oct 2012 21:29:45 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=5234&iddiary=9508
