After playing for a second hour the game resulted a little tiring because I had just played a similiar adventure mode map not to long ago. I would recommend to play this game only once in a while with a group of friends, which is probably what the game was designed for anyways. Mario Party brings a 3D video game element to board games, making them very fun. Mario party has three different modes, adventure mode, mini-game island mode, and mini-game house mode. I enjoyed playing an adventure mode game with some friends because it's just like a regular board game, but with a video game aspect. I was able to play as any one of a selection of popular nintendo characters. The game also offered mini games which were like short little video game competitions against your friends or the computer. These mini games were fun to play both by themself and in adventure mode games when a player landed on one. What I like most about this game is that you can play it for an hour or so and not leave the game on a cliff hanger. Every time your play you can start and finish the game with out having to save your progress or anything.Fri, 23 Feb 2007 14:52:24 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1428&iddiary=3019Halo: Combat Evolved (XBX) - Mon, 12 Feb 2007 15:29:38https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1314 After completing the first level in Legendary mode, my friend and I began to play the second level of Halo in Legendary mode. The story line in these first two levels is very exciting, rythmic, and sucks you into the game. In the second level you start out in a small crashed escape pod on the Halo terrain. Looking around at the Halo's scenery, it is modled after earth's terrain. Throughout the whole second level my friend and I had to defeat many covenent forces and defend fellow marines in the game to advance to the next scenario. The map for the second level is very spread out and open. I found it possible to get confused or lost in this level. The difficulty in this level, even though it was in the same mode, was harder than the first. There were more enemies and more challenges to face, such as saving marines. I usually just play Halo 2 online or multiplayer with friends. When I switched from playing Halo 2 to Halo, I could notice a large difference in graphics and gameplay. The graphics for the original Halo are much simpliar than Halo 2 mainly because it was one of the first xbox games to be released. For the first hour of gameplay I played the very first level with a friend in Legendary mode. In the first level we start out aboard a ship where we get attacked by aliens (Covenant) who board the ship and try to take it over. The flow of this first level is very straight forward and is almost impossible to get lost. While my friend and I were attacking the Covenant forces it was pretty easy to destroy all the enemies with out having to revert back to the last checkpoint because if one of us died we could leave combat and wait for the other to respawn. This part in the game brings the difficulty of the game down, but is fixed in Halo 2's Legendary mode.Mon, 12 Feb 2007 15:15:01 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1314&iddiary=2810Super Smash Brothers (N64) - Wed, 31 Jan 2007 17:31:21https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1086I played this game for an additional hour or so and chose a new level from a list of ten. Me and my friends played on the Dream Land level which is modeled after the Kirby game. After playing for a longer period of time than before I started to learn links better attacks and moves and started to become better at playing the game. This time when me and my friends all played I actually got second on one of our matches. Of coarse I wouldn't ever expect to get better then that considering that they play for hours a day. All in all I would say that this is a great multiplayer 3D game with a 2D map layout that allowes for some interesting play.Wed, 31 Jan 2007 17:31:21 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1086&iddiary=2332Super Smash Brothers (N64) - Wed, 31 Jan 2007 17:23:36https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1086This game was probably one of my favorite games to play at parties when I was younger. Super Smash Bro's is so popular that there's a bunch of people on my floor that still play the game off the original N64. After playing this game for an hour with them, I remembered just how much fun this game really was. I was able to select what ever character I wanted from a list that was made up of characters from many different games. I remember always being link, so this time I picked link again. Me and my three other friends started playing an all out battle of free-for-all with a certain capped number of lives. We played on the level Yoshi's island, which resulted to be very fun, and the level itself had obstacles to over come while I tried to defeat my friends. Since I hadn't played in a while, I ended up losing all my lives first and having to watch how my friends played for the rest of the game. I really enjoyed playing this game and would definitley rate it still in my top 5 games.Wed, 31 Jan 2007 17:23:36 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=1086&iddiary=2323Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - Fri, 19 Jan 2007 15:39:30https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=817After playing Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time for a second hour, I began to get the hang of how to play the game better. Since my Legend of Zelda has already been beaten, I was able to go to whatever place I wanted to go and go against whatever foes I wanted to fight. During this second hour I went into the fire temple and went threw the entire temple. I found it entertaining trying to pass firey obstacles and killing foes with my bow and arrow or sword. It was also entertaining using bombs to blow up obstacles in my way.Fri, 19 Jan 2007 15:39:30 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=817&iddiary=1820Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - Fri, 19 Jan 2007 15:29:15https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=817 After playing this game again for the first time in six years, the game didn't seem as interesting as when I first played it. Since I have been used to playing games with much better graphics in these recent years, the graphics in this Legend of Zelda seemed very outdated. Besides the graphics I still found the game play and quests very fun. However, for the first hour that I played it, the quests seemed a lot easier than what I had remembered them to be. Of coarse I was only about 11 when I first played the game. What I enjoyed about the first hour of gameplay was running around the Zelda maps on links horse and back and forth from being a child to being an adult. I also enjoyed going into different maps such as the water one and having to use special items to be able to walk at the bottom of the water.Fri, 19 Jan 2007 15:29:15 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=817&iddiary=1814Halo 2 (XBX) - Fri, 12 Jan 2007 15:18:45https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=401After playing the first level in legendary, me and my friend began to play the second level in legendary. After about an hour and a half of playing the second level we finally gave up. The reason was that in this second level there are tons of covenant snipers, all of which almost never miss you, and always get a head shot. So what was happening for a long time, was that we would re-spawn at our checkpoint, then within in a minute or so we would be head shotted by a snipper. After playing co-op, we began to play online in xbox live. Playing Halo 2 on xbox live, to me is better than playing the campain. In time I've found out that playing online requires more strategy than in campain mode, and it's a lot more fun when playing with about 4-8 friends.Fri, 12 Jan 2007 15:18:45 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=401&iddiary=1420Halo 2 (XBX) - Wed, 10 Jan 2007 15:48:44https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=401 From the release of the original Halo I have always been a big Halo fan, in fact, it has probably been the only game I've played within the past 4 years. When Halo 2 Came out in November of 2004 many of my friends didn't like it. They hated how they changed the pistol and how the grenades range of damage was shortened. Amongest my friends that disliked Halo 2, some switched over to Halo for PC while others just went on to other games. However, some of my other friends and I stuck with Halo 2 and grew a custom to its changes. After finishing the campain for Halo 2 and realizing it's horrible ending, I switched over to playing Halo 2 for xbox live. For the hour I played this game to full fill this assignment, I played the first level on legendary along with a friend. Playing this level in any other difficulty setting would have made it too easy to pass the level. Playing the Legendary difficulty setting in co-op mode, made it a better challenge for both of us, since we are both pretty good at the game. What made it most difficult is the fact that we had to start over from a checkpoint everytime one of us made a mistake and died. Besides the difficulty, I really enjoy playing this level. The level takes you through a varitey of different terrain and enemies to face. From having to kill enemies boarding your ship, to going outside into outerspace and killing enemies in space suites, this level is great for anybody that hasn't played Halo 2 yet.Wed, 10 Jan 2007 15:48:44 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=401&iddiary=1128
