Since the first game was all about whaling. Dishonored 2 had me pit myself against the howlers and the overseers. I decided to stay neutral in this specific situation. I have no idea what is good for Karnaca. As a spectator looking in(not as corvo but me). I ended up solving the riddle on my own during the neutral method of sneaking into both bases. I am excited to see how that plays out.Thu, 09 Nov 2017 23:16:10 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6494&iddiary=11408Dishonored 2 (PC) - Thu, 09 Nov 2017 00:20:31https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6494I got a bit carried away and go to the portion of Kirin Jindosh. I assume this was one of the main discussions. Because he has so many different ways to kill this single target. Including torture, I remember something faintly similar to this in the first one but I cant remember. Based on the player's motives for revenge you can do this quickly or end up dragging it out much longer than it should be. I ended up going through with the electrical chair option. Erasing a portion of a persons mind seems far crueler than anything I could think of. It is the more interesting choice in this case. One of the bigger ethical decisions I will be making in this game is the attempt to not kill anyone I don't have to. Which is a micro decision on this one and does have a mechanic that rewards low chaos options. The decisions I assumed to be the correct ones to go with really did give me the least feedback on my decisions. In the end you can have some of your friends die and save yourself in the process. I don't feel any real precedence to this game but thats just me.Fri, 29 Sep 2017 14:40:56 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6462&iddiary=11342Oxenfree (PC) - Thu, 28 Sep 2017 00:22:06https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6462I am having trouble trying to find the moral quandary with this game. I have just finished the game in under 3 hours and none of the questions or concerns seemed to have shown themselves to me. I checked the optional endings for the game and I seemed to have pulled off the everyone lives ending. I think the decisions are meant to affect who stays with you or not. But these motivations were so simple to make. It never for one second gave me the feeling "Am I making the right decision?". So taking my next gameplay into mind, I am probably going to play it through as the worst person.Thu, 28 Sep 2017 00:22:06 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6462&iddiary=11315Oxenfree (PC) - Tue, 26 Sep 2017 22:42:41https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6462I couldn't tell if my submission went through or not. Well, I will give the cliff notes on it then. Oxenfree seems like a classic indie title with a couple of kids exploring an island to get drunk. The twist that I can see people would flock to, is that the island isn't really deserted. though my time was short I am expecting that at some point my decisions will have an effect on my friends in some way. As for right now it seems to be just build up for the reveal.Tue, 26 Sep 2017 22:42:41 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6462&iddiary=11296This is the Police (PC) - Fri, 01 Sep 2017 00:42:35https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6443The last stretch of the game had my main character turning more corrupt at the time. And it soon becomes the mechanics. You won't be able to displease the mafia enough times. You end up dead. That being said there are some commentary latter stages. In the second half of the game, your officers won't feel safe going solo. There is this escalation that comes out through the game. I would often send swat officers for cases that before then wouldn't require SWAT. The militarization of my office became the standard. Interesting commentaryFri, 01 Sep 2017 00:42:35 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6443&iddiary=11269This is the Police (PC) - Wed, 30 Aug 2017 23:46:29https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6443This is the second time I am playing this is the police. This is the police took a really dark turn during my playthrough this time. Walking the narrow line of a budgeted response system has lead me to make some harder decisions. Its an interesting mechanic that unless you really get a good start, is gonna work against you constantly. Maybe its poetic that in order to achieve in this game you need a big budget and everything on your side. The biggest ethics decisions came towards the mid game(I assume) Where I would have a lack luster employee that i couldnt fire. So I just put him on a mission to die. Real world unacceptable, video game perfectly fine.Wed, 30 Aug 2017 23:46:29 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6443&iddiary=11251This is the Police (PC) - Wed, 30 Aug 2017 01:39:39https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6443The Opening of This is the police has quite a noir feeling to it. I assume this is to reflect on its heavy tone of Overworking your employees while still trying to manage a budget. Its secondary hook is the exhaustion's effect on factors that could end the life of one of your officers. The information is spread out quite interestingly. I am interested in how this game will fill out in the long run. I hope I don't kill any copsWed, 30 Aug 2017 01:39:39 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=6443&iddiary=11241
