Jrodriguez's GameLogBlogging the experience of gameplayhttps://www.gamelog.cl/gamers/GamerPage.php?idgamer=815Grand Theft Auto IV (360) - Wed, 14 May 2008 22:34:14https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3303Well I finally scrounged up the money to pick up Grand Theft Auto IV from my local Eb Games (they tried selling me the "special edition" GTAIV for like $20 more) and I must say, from the opening cinematic I knew this was a going to be a special game. You are first introduced to the main character, Niko Bellic, and your brick-headed cousin who told you false stories of mansions and nice cars in order to persuade you to come to America. He kind of plotted out a plan for world domination on a smaller basis - Niko's cousin wants you to join him in doing whatever it takes to "get to the top", what ever that means. To be honest I really haven't even gotten past the first hour of story mode. I played around for a while, learning how to drive, shoot, walk, ECt. What really persuaded me to buy this game was a few of my gamer buddies, who are addicted to the online game play. I only heard great things and the never ending fun of the online play, and I must say it did not disappoint. For hours we played around in the free lance mode, just cruising around the world and causing chaos; highjacking helicopters, having stand-offs with the police (and sometimes the army) and cruising around in our ballin' Ferrari F430's and Aston Martin's. I used to play the Grand Theft Auto series on PlayStation 2, and I was in love with the games. The only thing that those games were missing was the online-play. Rockstar put much effort into making the online gameplay pretty smooth and bug-free, with the occasional glitch every now and then.Wed, 14 May 2008 22:34:14 CSThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3303&iddiary=6167Kingdom Hearts (PS2) - Thu, 01 May 2008 19:04:16https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3294Upon starting up Kingdom Hearts, I was astonished at the already developing story line. In the game you play the character Sora, a young boy who lives with his friends on an unidentified, vacant topical island. From there i was able to choose my specialty in combat: I could have been a defender, A caster using magic, or a knight wielding a Sword. Interested in hack-n-smash play-style, I chose the Knight. On the main island, I brushed up on my combat with my friends, and did nonsense errands to get me used to the game-style, running, jumping and using the camera to my advantage. After an hour or so of game play, the game took an intense plot twist- creatures from another world had invaded the island! Being the night I was, I had to confront them and kill them - kind of. Soon i was sent spiraling alone through different dimensions, without ever saying goodbye to my little girlfriend or any of the others. When I "woke up" I found myself inside the world of "101 Dalmatians", and was soon introduced to my sidekicks Goofy and Donald Duck. (This entry has been edited1 time.
