I walked around for a while getting used to the game and I have just started to do the missions. These missions are absolutley insane everything from beating up crack dealers to robbing people it is mayham. To think that this game is one of the most popular games out right now is amazing I can't believe it is even legal to sell. All this game does is give kids ideas and images that they shouldn't see. To gain respect in this game you can go and kill a bunch of rival gang members which, it is viewed as a good thing. I hope that kids don't look at this game as somehting they could be doing to be earing respect.
Another thing in this game that is off is the health of the characters. Cj the character you play with can get shot what seems to be around ten times and still walk away. This is bad for kids to see because most of the time if you get shot in the right place your dead. When you do die in this game you appear at the hospital ready to go back into the game.
This game is still somewhat entertaining but, should only be played by adults. Adults can tell the difference between what happens in the game should stay in the game. Kids brains are to important to be polluted with this game.

After playing this game I feel bad for the police. In this game the police are looked at as the enemy and are portrayed as being dirty. There might be some dirty cops in our world but, most of them are on our side. Thousands of kids play this game and it brings up the notion that most of the L.A.P.D. are dirty and untrustworthy. This is terrible for the police because they now have to work extra hard to gain the trust and repect that they should already have.
One positive thing in this game was how Cj the main character and his brother are close. As I kept playing you could tell that Cj, his brother and there friends all cared for each other. This is good because growing up in a neighborhood like that would be rough.
Walking around Cj's neighborhood makes me appreciate how lucky I am to have grown up in the suburbs and not the "hood" like Cj. Walking out of Cj's front door there are gang bangers with guns and hookers looking for money. Then Cj walks down the street and there are his enemies that shoot at him. Walking out of my front door there are just regular people that you don't have to fear and that aren't carring guns with them. There are kids out there that live the way Cj and his friends have to live which is terrible to think about. The only thing that these kids are worried about is staying alive.

I just started playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and it has every stereotype you could think of in this game. Every Mexican that I have encountered seems to be part of a gang and carries a gun. They also all have similar gang related tatoo's all over there bodies. Another thing about the mexicans is that they all drive around in some sort of stereotypical lowrider.
Another thing that opened my eyes was when I got dropped off in the "hood" and a group of black gang bangers started shooting at me. This makes me think what would really happen if I stepped into a area that was like this in real life. These gang bangers had automatic weapons and wore the same colors that their homies were wearing. I know this is stereotypical but, this makes me never want to go into an all black neighborhood. There are also a lot of hookers in this game and must of them that I have seen are black.
I got into a few fights with random people while I have been walking around and it seems that every ethnic person has a gun. When I fight a white person sometimes they run away and other times they are pretty easy to beat up compared to the ethnic characters. Pretty much every stereotype that is against what we are supposed to think off is in this game. The game is still fun though and I have been enjoying driving around in all of these different cars.
