Why are there no gigolos in this game? All of the women in this game are scantily dressed. Even if this is supposed to be a depiction of real life, there are still women who are presentable or have enough self-dignity to wear more than an ace bandage for a shirt. It may be more pleasing for the male viewers to see these women wearing practically nothing. Since the majority of the gamers who purchase GTA are male, utilitarianism would say that it is ethically right for the women to not wear clothing because it is pleasing to the male viewers. It benefits the most number of people when the players see women not wearing clothes. However then it could be taken to be a rule that since the majority of gamers are male, all of the women in the game should be scantily dressed. It would be unethical for the women to wear clothing. The only time that women could ethically wear clothing in games would be when the majority of the gamers are not male.

The acts of violence being committed in the game are terrifying when thinking about them in real life. When I hit someone with my car, I was actually concerned. This however was taking my emotions out of the context of the game. Given that it is a game and that one is not supposed to feel for characters that are not real, I still kept thinking of what if this happened in real life. Not that I am an advocate for banning games of anything of the sort, it was still startling to me thinking about how this could happen in real life. The random acts of violence I committed in the game could actually happen to someone that I know. This however assumes that there are psychopaths wandering the street looking for people to beat up with a bat.
Also other posts are commenting on the realistic gang violence that happens in the game. Are there many crack houses that have gang members kill people with bats? I am sure that there are some because it is prevalent enough to happen in the game.

It seems as though this video game is stereotyped to a point where if someone had a specific race [that was terribly stereotyped] they did not like, they have the ability to target them. For instance, every black man with a gold chain on this game has a gun. And all of the gang members are either latino or black. The Latinos gang members drive low riders and are dressed to match stereotypes. The taxi drivers even have middle-eastern accents.
Of course I stopped fulfilling the missions when failing miserably at them. I was shocked to find out that after I was busted, incarcerated, and upon my release there was a shootout in front of the police station and I was not the cause of it. The game continued shootouts without me being present. Four police cars exploded on their own. When there was this mass chaos, I thought it would be a good idea to start shanking people and taking their money. Figured that you had to have money to pick up prostitutes somehow. This just lead to me beating up people that simply bumped into me on the street. However, while playing this game my demeanor was not violent nor angry. Simply put, I was curious as to what would happen when I broke the law in this game. This lead to mayhem and a four star rating.
After stealing a police boat/cruiser, blowing up three other cruisers and a helicopter, my friend shouted, "Whoa! This is just like a Michael Bay film."

Yesterday I had posted a beautiful game entry and it has been lost. I am actually quite distraught. So here we go again...
I have never been a gamer and San Andreas proves that there is still no hope. When starting off I decided to try and earn a way for myself by accomplishing missions. Attempting to earn some money, maybe a small fortune, as well as earning some street cred. Like that? Turns out I am terrible at driving in this game, as opposed to real life. At one point in time I was actually getting the hang of driving and then I noticed that cars started driving out of their lane and towards me! My maneuvering skills were actually improving and then cars started playing chicken with me! The trouble I found was that when I would look at the map and try to drive to the correct location, I would actually start hitting pedestrians because I was not focusing on the road. There is also a large difference in the handling of the cars almost to a point where I felt I had no control over the car or bicycle. I had reached my ultimate low when it came to the mission where I had to both look at the map to find the opposing gang's car and drive next to them for the drive-by shooting. I could not make it past that... mission failed.
