I have been playing the game now for a little while and I do find it quite entertaining. I am such a "goodie two shoes" when it comes to games like this, but I try to drive well and not hit civilians. There are a lot of times when I feel bad for doing something and enjoying it because it is totally unrealistic but I can't help but feel bad about it. When I had my friends who were boys play the game they were just brutal. They cheer each other on when one will kill someone or get a prostitute and therefore, I do find it quite amusing to also watch the game. I think it would be interesting to look at the gender differences when playing the game and see how males play it differently then females.

Something that I realized while playing is how all of the acts CJ commits are all very realistic gang crimes. While to most people it seems just like a fun game but I could see where other people could see it as "cool" and be more inclined to go out and do the same things. I know this is a little far fetched but if someone is obsessed with the game and plays it all the time, I could see where it would be very influencing when the crimes are so real. I think that the problem lies in the eye of the player and how they view what they are doing throughout the game.

I had played part of a Game Theft Auto game before so I knew the premise of the game somewhat. I was not fully aware of the story however until I began playing recently. I do not really have a big problem with the story or the ethical morality of the game so far. The aspects I could see people having problems with are the swearing, racial/gender stereotypes, drug use, criminal acts and violence. The swearing does not seem that big of a deal because many movies and tv shows with certain ratings have the same amount. The same goes for the drug use and violence. The one that I think would be the biggest moral issue is that of racial and gender stereotypes. I think its a decently big issue to press a certain race with gang violence or genders with various roles in the community.
Otherwise, I find the game very entertaining and I think that it is fun to take on a different role in a realistic way.
