After playing gradius some more I realized that gradius is the first game to use the weapon power up system. The thing is in gradius the game allows you to choose what power up system you want to use and implement. This allows the player to have more control over the game allowing the player to take their own paths when playing the game.

I have never really gotten into this game before. Just recently I started to play it more indept. The level design like any shmup is semless and the level moves with you in a way. What I like about the level design in this game is that it makes you feel like you are in outter space. The thing that makes the game very interesting is the level design cause in one level you can be in outter space and in the next level you can be on a lava planet. In terms of bosses the feel is very different. An example is the first boss which was a couple of volcanoes. Took me 4 times of game play to pass this level. The boss is so different than anything I have seen in most of the games I have played. Gradius is definetly one of the best shmups I have ever played.

WarioWare is a game like which I have never played before. It is so action packed and different from any game I have ever seen or played. I call this game Mario party on acid. This game is basically a trip. Cause everything in this game is about speed and perfection. Know to talk about the wii handles the game. I love how they have integrated the wii mote into this game. Before each mini game they show you exactly how he wii mote is supposed to be used by a picture representation on the screen and this tells you if you will be holding it sideways or forward. This game allows to perform all kinds of activities from stirring food to swatting flies. In a previous post I talked about how the wii mote didn’t work well with Zelda they have turned it around and it works like a charm on the Nintendo wii. I usually play this game with like 4 people and the cool thing about this game is that you can do a multiplayer and it supports up to 12 players so its always fun to play and I think Nintendo made a great game.

Before I start about what I think about the game play I would like to explaing what I think this game is trying to get at what its purpose is. WarioWare is a game that is a collection of short mini games. Each mini game takes about 5 seconds to complete each mini game and if you cant complete it you loose one life each time and there are four lives a round. In this game you must complete the serires of mini games to move onto the next series of minigames. The game is structured like a city and when u complete one task more minigames and new sections of the city open up and each section has some extra feature or more minigames which you can play. This is the first wario game that came out for the wii and I love playing it the mini games are fun and exciting.
