    Sep 10th, 2012 at 23:02:37     -    Super Doggy (Arcade)

    GameLog #3

Super Doggy is the game I chose to play. It has similar features as the game Mario. It is an adventure game specifically “jump and shoot” game. The purpose of this game is to help the super dog sustain life and save the puppies by using his super powers to conquer the evil Lord Claw, cats, and villains. The super doggy has five lives in total. When super doggy is unable to escape or kill his enemies, he dies. The game comprises of different levels. When one level is successfully completed, you would be taken to the next level. I only successfully finished three levels in total. The mechanics are pretty easy to follow and understand. The keys used were the left to move left, right to move right, up to jump, down arrow to duck, the “a” key to jump or stop flying, “s” key for usage of super power, and the spacebar to start the game. The “p” key was used as a menu on how to play the game. I enjoyed every bit of the game because the more I completed a level, the more interesting it became. Also, in addition, I would add that the directions were easy to follow. In my opinion, the music played, overall, made the game even more interesting. It was catchy and sounded more like a real song I could listen to on a daily basis. The game also showcased different colors which made the background catchy and worth playing. It can also be played at any day during the day or night or any time. I would highly recommend this game to anybody of any age and gender because it is interesting, exciting, unforgettable, classic, and stress reliever. My Final words- play this fun game and enjoy it while relaxing yourself.

    Sep 8th, 2012 at 13:34:10     -    Braap Racing (Arcade)

    GameLog #2

The game I chose to play was Braap Racing. It was an action game, specifically an arcade racing motorcycle game. It had a limited time span. The game involved five players including myself as a player. The objective of Braap Racing was to beat the clock as well as the other racers you’re competing with. The mechanics of the game were pretty simple to follow. The left, right, up, and down arrows were used. Spacebar, the letter z, x, and c were used as well. The arrow, up, down, right, and left, were used as controls, the spacebar was used to jump, and the keys z, x, and c were used for doing tricks. Also, one could earn bonus for doing tricks using the keys necessary. Some of the tips I learned throughout the game were that you should not crash often because it would cost you the game. All you have to do is to race as quickly as possible so that the time does not run out. The sound used throughout the game was not catchy at all. It had the same sound and beat to it. It got annoying at some point but that didn’t stop me from playing the game. Playing this game makes you feel like you’re actually racing with other people. It also had beautiful scenery to it which looked like there were people actually there watching you race the entire game. I played this game five times. I came into fourth place two times, third place once and first place two times. What is also nice about this game is that you actually get to pick your color you want to be (white or black), type of players you want to be (male of female), and the color of your motorcycle. To conclude, I would highly recommend this game, Braap Racing, to anybody interested in racing game. It was fun and exciting.

    Sep 3rd, 2012 at 17:56:42     -    Mortal Kombat (Other)

    GameLog #1

Mortal Kombat is classified as a violent game which can be played by one person against the computer (opponent) or two people against each other. The game is known for its bloody violence such as kicking, punching, throwing others to the ground, and so on. I chose Mortal Kombat because it’s not only interesting but also, it’s a well-known game played by almost everyone. Even though I should not be playing this game because of the violence scenes it creates, I enjoy it whenever I play it. In my opinion, playing Mortal Kombat helps release stress and anger. It calms the nerves when angry because of the series of violence, hitting, and kicking, in the game. What I like the most about this game is that, it can be played on numerous types of games like the xbox 360, play station, ps3, Nintendo, and even on the computer and also on so many other games. I, on the other hand, played this game on the computer. The overall idea of this game is to win, of course, like every other game. The more punches and kicks you hit, the more you weaken the opponent and win. I won numerous times when I played it and I played it more than 10 times. What I also like the most about this game is that it creates a scenery environment where you actually think you’re doing the kicking and punching and the other bloody violence to your opponent. Furthermore, the mechanics of the game are good. They are pretty simple to follow and understand. They constitute of rules that are intended to produce excitement when playing the game. To conclude, I would highly recommend this game to anyone of any age group, whether old or young, not only because it’s fun and entertaining but also the scenery environment it creates.
