Just finished another 30 minutes of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I now remember why I stopped playing it, ya running around committing random acts of violence is fun. Stealing cars, bashing peoples heads in playing the missions, is all fun for me but in small doses. Today I did a few of the mission objectives and mostly ran around aimlessly trying to find some thing new and exciting to do. This ended up being stealing and beating the crap out of innocent people and cops. I feel like the game really drives you to do this by not having many moral options anyhow.

I have not played Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, since I was in high school and it really brought back some awesome memories. I played the PC version for the first time today, cheated so I did not have to start at the beginning. First thing I did was get the cops to chase me as much as possible, what was supposed to be 30 minutes quickly turned into 45 minutes. I stopped at that point. I never realized how much violence I was willing to commit with in the realm of a video game that I would never think about doing any other time. It actually helped me relieve some undesired stress running over people in a stolen vehicle. I always hate the mission play so I spend most of my time running around robbing people of their cars and money to survive in the game. Never thought about it before now but wow I am without question willing to do anything in a video game setting and in a way it felt good to do so.
