For my final session of Columbine I decided to play out the Hell level. This part was very strange. Unlike the rest of the game, I'm not entirely sure the purpose of this level. To add insult to injury these levels are particularly difficult. I died multiple times without making much progress. Never the less I continued to push through the levels until I eventually found Eric. At this point I was so frustrated with the gameplay and nature of the game I desisted.

I picked up Columbine again and this time I tried to play through the game without killing anyone. That was extremely difficult. It took me like an hour and a half of restarting and restarting until I finally managed to get through to the library without killing anyone. That was an extremly frustrating and difficult proposition. The problem is its like trying to get 100% on anything. One mistake and its all over. That presented me with no end of trouble as I would bump into the enemies left and right while trying to nvagate the tight parking lot and hallways.

I read the Columbine book written by David Cullen when I was in high school. This gave me unique insight into this game. That book covered a lot of information people dont really know about Columbine so I knew things most of my classmates probably did not. For example in the game you play as Eric Harris with Dylan ordering you around. That was the inverse of what actually happened in Columbine. Eric was the motivating party. I had a hard time playing this game so far because I'm not a sociopath or sadist. The beginning of this game started slowly and the instructions were poor. Eventually after like 50 tries I found mt way to the cafeteria and planted the bombs. Then for the first time I played through. I found out that if you run into the people you are forced to killed them or die. I killed 4 people on this first play through... It bothered me... A lot.

For my last day of Grand Theft Auto I decided to screw around. To this end I started to delve more deeply into the use of cheat codes. It started firstt with screwing around with the rarer vehicles like the helicopters and tank. After this the real fun started when I entered a cheat code to give the civilians weapons, followed by cheat to cause them to riot. Before I knew it the game had devolved into city wide riot. It was amusing and allowed me to commit crimes indiscriminately, seeing as the cops were other wise occupied. It also led to a number of humorous events such as the old lady who blew up a cop car with a rocket launcher. All of this added up t make the game less of a gangland game and more of an all out third person shooter. I spent at least an hour and a half cruising around the city on a jet pack getting into shoot outs with random groups of police officers and civilians before stopping.
