Before my second play through I took a break. During that break i left the game running and noticed a interesting and fun combo. I noticed that if you allowed one of your space crafts to get abducted and then destroyed the ship that abducted it you would then gain access to two ships with double the firepower! Fire rate being my main critique of this game, i set out to accomplish this. I got through the first level and foolishly destroyed all the ships capable of abducting mine early. But during the second level I had enough discipline to allow one of my tokens to be abducted. Shortly after i destroyed the ship that had taken it. During this time i destroyed many aliens and hurt my hit-miss ratio. I also came to the realization that this combo also increased my hit surface so i didn't get to exploit it for too long. I died later in the same level. Perhaps i should have gained an extra ship through gaining enough points before i let them take my lives voluntarily. Overall i had fun and it is still a challenging and entertaining game.

I played Galaga on a Namco bundle device with classic controls (joystick and buttons). The point of this game is to destroy all "aliens" on the screen and get the local high score. You accomplish this by using projectiles that I'm assuming are lasers by their sound. The game ends when you have lost all of your lives which are in the form of spaceships. During my first play through I noticed that you must press the button for every shot to be made. This was a little tiresome and the laser then only shot with a two round semi quick succession. The space ships would attack in three ways. The first and primary way was by firing projectiles of their own. Secondly they would attempt to collide with my ship. The final way is that one particular variant of ship would attempt to abduct by spacecraft. Through the first play through I fought valiantly but fell to the third wave of the scoundrels. The first time I died was unexpected when a ship collided with my own. I didn't anticipate this as other games of similar game play I have ran across has aloud enemies to pass through you. The other two times i died to regular projectile attacks while focusing on firing upon them.
