Last night I went back and replayed the part of episode two where you have to decide who to blame for Kate's decision to try to commit suicide. You can either blame Nathan, the art teacher or David. The first time I chose to blame Nathan, but this time I decided to pick David instead. It'll be interesting to see how that choice affects what happens differently.

Today I played the part in episode 3 where I had to sneak into the school at night with Chloe. We broke into the principal's office and after finding what we were looking for, Chloe stumbled across five thousand dollars in an envelope labeled "handicap fund." She wanted to take it to pay off her debt to that sketchy dude, but I had my reservations. Ultimately I let her take it because I don't like/trust the principal and I want her to not be in danger. We'll see how that plays out.

Last night I played the end of episode two of Life is Strange, which concludes in a very interesting way. You see Kate Marsh standing on top of a school building, about to commit suicide. At the same time you climb up the stairs and reach her, you lose your power to rewind time and have to literally talk her down from the ledge. Based on your prior choices, she will either be receptive to you or think that you don't care about her and jump. I was able to talk her out of it, which I was super happy about. It was pretty crazy.

Today I played through the sequence where Joel and Ellie are driving their newfound truck into Pittsburgh and see a man alone in the street, apparently wounded. He reaches toward them, asking for help, but Joel senses danger and yells at Ellie to get down. The man pulls a gun and Joel is forced to accelerate, running him over. They are then ambushed by the rest of the bandit gang, who run them off the road and into a storefront. After Joel kills the men coming after them, he asks Ellie if she’s okay and she says she thinks so. Moving forward, they open a garage to find the bodies of the victims of the gang, who they had brutally tortured. Even in this harsh world, Ellie has trouble reconciling this senseless violence.
