I've proceeded into a town looking for a women. Just outside of town I saved a merchant from a gryphon. I went into the Inn looking for information about the woman Yennefer that I am looking for. After talking to a few people a man gave me information about someone who might know of her whereabouts. As I left the Inn a group of three men attacked me. So far there as been a lot of small cut scenes which is both interesting and annoying at the same time. I worked my way over to a military camp not far from the village to find a man that made a deal with me. If i hunt down the gryphon that attacked the merchant earlier and kill it, he would give me the location of Yennefer. I still don't exactly know why I am looking for this woman. I have been informed by a friend the upcoming fight with the gryphon is not a fun one for someone not very well accustomed to the combat system yet.

I've started off and the game has a nice combat system to it. It's not terribly complicated but open to doing more complicated combos. I have pushed through the tutorial stage and moved on a little further into the story. You are given a few opportunities to choose a dialogue path. I'm curious to see if what you choose to say will change certain outcomes. I haven't be able to see any form of skill tree or perks that come from helping certain people or not helping them. The story seems interesting but I haven't played the previous two so I don't know if I am missing anything in terms of story.

The game can be difficult to figure where you are supposed to go at times. It doesnt give you any direction really which is nice at not nice at the same time. I got to a point and I've lost my shield that allows me to direct my animal friend to destroy things. I am currently stuck in a room where i can't seem to find my way out. I can see where i need to go but cannot see how to get there. I still haven't run into sort of ethical or moral issue yet.

So far the game seems pretty linear in its gameplay, I haven’t been presented with a choice to do something or not do something yet that affects any outcome in the game. That being sad the character build is well developed, in the beginning of the game you find a large animal with spears in it and if you approach he seems hostile. You feel inclined to help it even though you don't really have much of a choice if you want to progress at all. It seems to be a game that you are sticking with this animal helping each other out, I am anxious to see what kind of choices if any I will be forced to make later on that will be more relevant to what we have discussed in class so far.
