To start I wrote this at 11:40PM Mountain time. So this game diary should be counted for 3/28/2018 not 29th. I think that the websites server must be on the East coast or something. Because its ahead by an hour. (it could also not be on day light saving time). Ether way I would like to see if you would count this journal for 3/28/2018.
I was able to go over to one of my friends house and play here they lie. It was really cool to be able to play a VR game. I have not had a lot of experience playing with a VR head set and I found the game play in Here They lie very interesting. The game starts you out on a buss which is somewhat scary. I have a hard time getting scared while playing games, there is just a disconnect that keeps me from feeling fear while playing games. But with that said I think that Here they lie did a good job at making the game feel foreboding and at time a little creepy. I think that as far as horror games go VR is decently the way to go because it adds another layer of interactivity that makes you feel like your apart of the game world which helps enhance the fear factor in the game.

I started having prisoners in my jail. This gave me allot more money which I used to get a few more grants and I was also able to make a munch of jail cells so that my inmates would have their own cell. This proved to be very expensive and I ran into the problem that I did not have enough water supply for all of the cells. I also started to put down more security measures to help make my prison more safe. I started by putting metal detectors out side of the kitchen so that I could stop the inmates from using the forks and knifes from the kitchens as weapons. Which had been a problem earlier in the game.

I spent the first few minutes going through and setting up my level. The game gives you the option of add in and removing certain elements of the game. For example you can decided if you want to allow gangs, you can also choose who will be your warden. depending on your choices here the game play will be effected by these choices. Once the game started I started by laying out the prison. The game gives you limit resources and you have to use those resources to construct your prison. Once you have the layout done you then move on to construction of the prison. Next I had to arrange the room. put beds in the prison cells, put in office supplies in the wardens office ect..

Today I moved on from the to the next level in mordor. During my time playing I realized that you are able to enslave the orks and get into their minds. This is a interesting part of the game and makes your character very darker / evil. Orks aren't the most friendly of people but at least their not tring to enslave your mind. During the game I had a ork kill me, after he killed me he became a captain and began to Taunt me I spent the next hour trying to kill him. I was determined to kill the ork, the only problem was that he had a lot of men around him and I kept dying which in return made him stronger which in return made me more angry at this character and just encouraged me to seek revenge on the ork even more. This game mechanic is a interesting one because it get you angry and wanting to seek revenge which plays along with the theme of the main character who is also seeking revenge. In a way this mechanic help the player connect with the feelings of the ranger.
