    GameLog 2:

During my gameplay, i see a culture issue in this game where women in this game are very women are assigned as sex objects. In one of the sub stories called Sexy Hook- Up, I play as Kiryu meet up with the girl named Ayaka in purple at a hotel for a hook-up. The reward I received is her page number, so I can meet up with her again for hook-ups. This sub-story mission achieves nothing on my character upgrade or impact to the story game-player. The reward I received was earning Ayaka after she hooked-up with Kiryu in the hotel.

As a player, i would criticize that it was a waste of time. Prostitution in the games doesn't feel like an award that could be useful as i continue throughout the gameplay. If the game is going to block the sex-scene then what is the point of that sub-story to be part of the game?

    GameLog 1:

I've played Yakuza 0 for about thirty minutes. I've never heard of the Yakuza series. Throughout the gameplay, i was impress with the graphics. The storytelling is a lot grasp for there group of Japanese mafias and know there members as well. The combat fighting is very brutal because of the punches and blood splattered scenes that happens. It's kind of funny for when i fight a group, there is title that labels in-front. For example, "HOOLIGANS", but i wasn't sure if there the bad guys? A lot of alcohol-use in this game for sure.

    Mar 29th, 2018 at 22:39:57     -    Yakuza 0 (PS4)

A npc character name Ruby approach to me (Kiryu) and i asked do i wanna hang-out and i chose yes in my option dialogue. Thus, substory called "The Truth About Beauty" was initialized. Soon, the screen turned black but there might have been hints that Kiryu was about to get physical with Ruby. However, Kiryu discovered Ruby was a man in-disguised. Ruby laughed and said "got more than what you bargained for?" Kiryu, was on his knees hurling as he was feeling humiliated. Then Ruby's brother approach to the scene, as he explained about his plot was just so they can rob Kiryu's wallet. Kiryu fights Ruby's brother but he learned that Ruby's brother is a woman in-disguised.

In the game, during their fight, some moments were really extreme fights like Kiryu picking-up a motorcycle and bashes Ruby. Skull-cracking and head bashing on the ground were very gruesome. Also, i had a crowd around me during this fight and they were entertained with the brawl. At the end, they both submit to Kiryu and ran away from him. Realistically, i don't know how Ruby was able to run away after Kiryu threw down that random motorcycle he picked-up and wield it like a sword and hit him? Is it morally right to take fights to the extreme?

There is a video i came across on YouTube called "RESPECTING WOMEN KIWAMI STYLE". A video where Kiryu fights Ruby for about five minutes. The bone-cracking and bleed-out were very surreal. I was morally disturbed of how the youtuber changed the narration to where it looks like Kiryu is beating a random woman up badly on the streets. Ruby being tortured and beaten for that amount of length is, to me, disgusting.

    Feb 15th, 2018 at 23:50:34     -    Prison Architect (PC)

For my final blog of the Prison Architect, i played what is called "Warden Mode". Basically, the title speaks for itself where you play as the warden. Furthermore, i guess, being the warden makes my character public enemy number one in prison. Also, i can't attack because its supposedly a "legal" establishment. What, i believe, makes this game challenging is recruiting guards are expensive. As a result, my prison will have more prisoners than guards as i start out this game.

I'm not really off to a great start, because there have been more prisoner deaths as i construct my prison. I've been very frugal on how i spend, thus people die. I feel like a failure as warden as i play this game. In addition, i believe, if Kant were around to see my gameplay, he would judge my position as a warden. However, it is a game with a large amount of drugs, violence, and brutality that does not build tolerance.

This warden mode continues to support my argument from previous two logs that this game is depressing to watch and creates increases consequences as i decide on how i want to spend my money. Other than that, it is a challenging to play, and i would recommend this game to anyone if they don't use moral and ethics to conflict their gameplay.
