After playing again I still have so many unanswered questions. I have no idea what is going on in the game. The monsters are pretty cool though. I can't tell if the ship is theirs, or if something happened to the people of the ship to turn them into monsters. The biggest issue that stands out to me is why is the main character alone on this ship? did she have nobody to take care of her?

I got past the first chapter today and probably halfway into the second. I have really liked the puzzles in this game. They have all felt very natural and appropriate to the story and environment. In this next chapter there was another point at which I needed to eat some food, but this time I found some meat in a cage. When I went to get the meat the cage was closed on me. I thought it was pretty cool and I have to say I wasn't fully expecting it.

I started Little nightmares today and i have enjoyed it so far. It has been odd that there is not any speaking or interacting with other characters. Mostly just avoiding them. I thought it was nice that when my character was getting really hungry a stranger in the mess hall threw me some bread. So far there has been no explanation of who I am, who anyone else is, or why I am on this ship. The horror elements of this game have been really interesting given the games artistic style. It feels like playing a Coraline game or something like that.

I helped gather supplies and equipment for a weapon vendor while playing today. He made an interesting observation when he said something like "these new weapons should help keep my friends alive. Or maybe they will kill them faster..." I thought there was a good point about war in this statement. The need to arm soldiers indicates the danger they are in. Well outfitted soldiers are the ones that will see action. I don't think that arming soldiers causes them to be in danger of being killed though. They are related, but one does not cause the other.
