More of the same today. The conclusion I have come to about the ethical statement in this game is that they condone murder if the ends justify the means. They give you targets that are despicable people and make you feel like they definitely deserve to die. I feel happiness killing them, rather than sadness or guilt.

Day 2: These missions take me a long time to finish. There are many opportunities to eliminate the target, but they seem to be need to be done perfectly and I often get sidetracked with a new opportunity. I found myself trying to find a way to eliminate the target without killing anyone else. I bet there is at least one way to complete it without even knocking someone out, but I haven't figured it out yet. This was technically the first "real" mission, although the prologue missions felt real enough. The targets are definitely bad people, which helps justify the need for their death. It would take hours to follow through all the opportunities the game gives you. Some seem more ethical than others, but marginally.

Started Hitman today. The game took forever to install. The first mission was overwhelming, and I ended up playing through it many times. It was very intriguing to discover all the ways in which you could successfully complete the mission. One attempt I poisoned the contact, assumed his identity, met with the target, killed him, assumed his identity and casually walked to the escape boat. Pretty crazy stuff. I find it weird that its a simulation of a mission, yet you're still encouraged to kill the target? It makes me wonder if the people are aware of what is happening? Who are these people? The people who are asking you to complete the simulation seem to think that you have acted immorally. They can be heard commenting on how emotionless you are. I first wanted to find the most creative ways to kill the subject. Afterwards I'm told how unsettling it was to watch. They do encourage you to only kill the target, but assuming these are real people in the simulation, that's still murder. So Far pretty good game, I have enjoyed my time playing.

It's interesting that you can Buy HUD elements. The robots I found were Wearing clothing, talking, amd generally seemed scared. I Felt bad and tried to find peaceful solution, but game forces the player to attack eventually. They formed a wierd cacoon and produced a Wierd Android type machine. It was really hard for me to beat and took a few tries, but afterwards it basically reincarnated itself from the dead body. It also seemed to have blood. I'm not sure where this will go, but it's definitely important.
