When playing Madden 2007 a second time i played by myself and i was able to explore many of the different gameplay features. One of my favorites was the mini camp. This is a game mode where you can brush up on many different skills needed to be successful at the game. Soem of the mini camp drills are pocket pressure, clutch kicking, corner punting, swat ball, and trench fight. When you play these game modes you play as a certain NFL player. For example: when i played clutch kicking i played as the arizona cardinals field goal kicker. You are given a certain amaount of time to kick as many field goals as you can and you are awarded a certain amaount of points for how accurate your ball is to the center of the field goal. You can get three types of awards for playing these games. There is a brondzse, silver and gold medal. If yo recieve a gold metal for your performance you are given a cheat card. This cheat card can be used during gameplay. The card given for a gold medal on the clutch kicking drill is a cheat to be able to kick a field goal on any part of the playing field no matter how far away you are.
I thought this was a very enjoyable extra to the game because it gave me more options than to just start and start straight into a game. It also helps me to understand the game of football a little further. It helped to teach me techniques that are necessary in order to be a great player.

I have always been a huge fan of the Madden series of football games. Growing up I have always been more into the sports games rather tha the RPG's because I was way into sports. I believe that this is by far the best football game out right now. When playing the new 2007 version I noticed how great the graphics are compared to the '99 version i bought for my pc when i was younger. The gameplay is great too. You can have multiple friends in a room all competing against each other. It gets very competitive and is extremely fun. I played a game against 4 of my friends where we all took turns by every half of play. It was interesting to watch how different people have different styles of play and different strategies that they use throughout the game.
