So i've just finished the Nightmare Before Christmas level and am one step closer to completing this whole thing. The level was great, had some trouble defeating the three demon children (I dont know their names), they kept coming out of the boxes!! Very frusterating. Anyway, that was basically the hardest part, everything else was mainly simple combat and objectives etc., and I did enjoy making the "presents" with the canon blaster thing. Again, except for Tron, Kingdom Hearts II has been a pleasure.

Ok so i've now been playing this game for a while and until now was very very happy with it. THEN CAME THE TRON LEVEL! I understand that Tron was cool in the '80s, there is no denying this. But, this level is the single most irritating, annoying, and pointless one in the entire game. Everything from objectives and general composition to the appearance of Sora and the team was horrible. Sorry to any fans out there, but this was a definite miss. Worst. Part. Ever. Couldnt wait to get out and wont be going back any time soon.

Playing video games is seriously the single greatest past time ever. No question. Sad thing, I didnt even realize this until I came to UCSC. Sure, i've played a fair share of games, N64 is still and will always be my favorite childhood memory, but I never really appreciated the power of gaming until now. Thankfully a roommate of mine brought her PS2 and consequently instigated my current obssesion with Kingdom Hearts II. Of course, being a fan of Disney movies etc. as a child, this game was of great interest for me. Specifically, I was excited to finally be able to play in the world of my all time favorite character ever :Aladdin. This game didnt dissapoint, although it did take a while to actually get to Agrabah. Everything from the character and storyline development ( of which I was somewhat familiar with from the first game) to the cut scenes made the experience seem almost like your playing and watching a movie at the same time. Even more interestingly, the incorporation of Final Fantasy characters and worlds in tribute to other older Disney themes was icing on the cake. Hopefully, the excitement wont end!
