Playing this game was hard at first to me. The controls seemed almost foreign and without a second joystick I was lost. It took a while but the feeling for the one joystick and using the yellow buttons to look and side step came back to me, even though I still don't like doing it like that. It made me realize how much better having two joysticks on one controller is. Anyways back to the game, I started a new game to start playing this so I started from the first level. I like how they put in the three different difficulties with different objectives so you can go through all of them whenever you want and it is easy to access different difficulties if you want to. The gameplay was fun, it had a good story and the levels are laid out really well. I like all the different objectives you have to complete and how some of them are harder than others and trickier than others. I am still not completely used to these controls but I will continue playing.

After playing this game a while longer I realized I forgot to talk about some of the new special tricks you can do. There is a thing called nail the trick that slows down time and concentrates on yoyur feet and the board. In this mode you can do flip tricks by moving the two joysticks different directions and timing the movements when the board grip tape is up or the trucks are up and then yo uhave to let go and land it when the grip tape is back up. This is a way to rack up a lot of points at the end of a big combo which is always nice to do. You can do nail the trick when you push in both joysticks. You can also slow down time to get better balance or land your tricks better by pressing in the left joystick when the special meter is up. It is a nice way to get lots of points because you can keep your balance really easily and watch your landings. As always it is good to do the special tricks which require more button combinations.
After playing this game for this long I realize how fun it is and I will play some more after I am done with this.

I started playing this game not too long ago, about the beginning of the this quarter and had notplayed it for a little while. I started up on the character I had previously created and started skating around and started connecting grinds and jumps and everything I could. This game is pretty easy to pick up as long as you have played any of the other Tony Hawk games. The controls are pretty much the same with a few extra buttons and it all has the same familiar feeling. The set up of this game is a little different than others, there is only 1 level with different areas to unlock. I think I prefer a bunch of different levels to just having one level, but it still works out pretty good. The graphics in this game look real good, especially in HD.
In this game you have to make taggings at spots where it says to do a grind for a certain length or jump really high, but you also complete goals by talking to people. There are 3 different levels for each of these goals and taggings, AM Pro and Sick. The goal of the game is to try to complete everything and move up the rankings in too the top 8 people out of 200 so you can make Tony Hawks Proejct 8 team. Basically this game is really fun and brings back lots of memories of being a kid.
