After struggling with Zelda last night being unable to uncover any other dungeons, I decided to google some facts to aid me. Fortunately there is a huge gaming community where someone has beaten a game you are looking for and you are able to get the appropriate information to make your game experience all the better. Fortunately, I found a map which helped me find all the secrets I needed. I was able to take on a few dungeons this morning and revel at the clever puzzle designs. I also was able to collect rupees as a form of currency to purchase a new shield. This experience was much better after I got a little assistance in finding the dungeons.

I had the opportunity to go back in the time of the game i used to play when I was 4 years old. I played Legend of Zelda, one of the greatest classic games of all time. I don't know a single person who doesn't know this game from first hand experience or atleast seen a reference from a later Zelda game.
When I started Zelda, I immediately explored the cool sword effect when Link is at full HP. It is interesting how a minor little attack plus truly sets it as an amazing game of its time. Considering it has been nearly 15+ years since I really played The Legend of Zelda, I began trying to remember the location of the first dungeon. I liked the clever puzzle aspects of each little room because it was this aspect of The Legend of Zelda that influenced almost every kind of RPG/ Action RPG. Further on, I struggled to find any other dungeon due to a poor mapping system design. If there was anything I could improve, it would be the mapping system which would allow travelling through the world slightly better.

Jan 12th, 2007 at 00:48:13 - World of Warcraft (PC) |
Today I chose to play a game that I have been continually progressing through for over three years. World of Warcraft is a MMORPG that excels in not only player vs monster content, but player vs player battles become the focus of the majority of my time spent. I have been playing on and off for the past three years with a Human Warlock that has seen much of the exciting raid dungeons and player vs player battle ground competitions. As I logged into the game, I immediately was engulfed in the social aspect of the game because as soon as I log on, I am connected to all the people I enjoy playing with via a guild. The consensus of our activity is to group up in a group of 10 or 15 and join one of the battlegrounds to defeat the horde in epic battle. The main purpose of killing enemy horde players is to gain more and more honor points that allow you to buy better and better gear. Currently the expansion of this game is not out yet (Released Jan 16th) and new content is scarce, but the overall drive of playing with your friends and destroying horde for the alliance provide this game unending amounts of fun. For some people, World of Warcraft can get old fast. For me, the chance to join up with my closest allys and out strategize the enemy players and monsters is the true goal of this game. I highly encourage anyone who doesn't mind putting in the time to join one of these social networks and conquer the World of Warcraft with your friends!
