Game Log Entry #2
GAMEPLAY-
During the second part of my gameplay I was able to get my sim engaged and married. My feelings while playing the sims were based on the accomplishments I made. Most of the time I was playing, my sim was enjoying her life while in the process of getting engaged ad having a huge wedding ceremony. I threw an excellent wedding party that reached a high score of roof raiser. Moreover I was pleased with my characters in the game because they were all happy.
The social interactions I had with other players were very interesting because they were also very interested in the game plot. My audience loved the drama I created within my sims because there was always something exciting going on and the game was never boring. The game was really fun to play because I was able to interact with people while playing and progress to different parts of my sims lives.
DESIGN-
The design of the game is really fascinating because the player is allowed to expand with the characters of the game. There are times when it seems as if there aren’t many limitations between the player and the life of the sims. The game brings the player plenty of opportunity and freedom. The Sims 2 does not contain levels, but in order to see progression in the game the player sets goals for him or herself.
The challenges the game provides are based on the aspirations and wants of the sims and how well the player can accomplish those aspirations.
The game keeps the player interested because there is always a challenge within all the different families. The player gets to create families and move them into homes, find them jobs and friends to interact with. As the game progresses the community keeps growing and new sims are born; it is a never ending cycle. I am very pleased with the game and there is nothing I would change about the way the game is set for now.
The reward structure of the Sims 2 is very interesting because it always varies and there are always things to unlock and look forward to. The Sims 2 is an interactive game that keeps the player wanting more.

SUMMARY-
In the Sims 2 the player controls the lives of the characters by keeping them happy and fulfilling their aspirations. The goal of the game is basically in the hands of the player because the player can either decide to promote their sim or keeping them healthy by fulfilling their needs.
GAMEPLAY-
While playing the game I was very intrigued because I was trying to get my sim promoted and engaged to another sim. I was also causing a lot of drama within my different families. Having power over the sims is really exciting because it is like having my own little world and I get to control what happens and what doesn’t. I like all the characters within my game because I created all of them and I decided what their personalities should be.
The storyline of my gameplay was based on the actions that I took with my sims. Overall I liked the storyline because I was able to get my sim promoted in her music career and I was able to make her fall in love; now all I need to do is get her engaged. The game was very interesting to play because there was a lot going on within my family. Now my family has different generations from the parents all the way down to the grandchildren.
I really liked the overall gameplay because I accomplished a lot and gained a lot of rewards. Knowing that my sims lives are advancing to better future in the game makes me happy!

Game Entry #2
GAMEPLAY:
Playing Zelda for the second time was more complicated than the first because half of time I was playing I was stuck on the bottom level of the tree trying to jump onto the platform in order to open the gate and move on to the next level. Eventually, I figured it out. While playing I was also in the Lost Forest trying to find my way between the tunnels. After overcoming all the different levels inside the tree I was able to move to next part which I am yet to explore.
My experience this time around was more challenging and exciting because there was more defeat and more logic to gain from the character. Through this part of the game I learned more techniques when fighting. For example, jumping side to side while slashing my sword or aiming correctly when using the sling shot. In my second try I became more experienced with the techniques and figuring out the hints given to me by my fairy.
As time passes the storyline of Zelda just keeps getting better and better!
DESIGN:
The design elements that make Zelda a good game are the storylines. It’s like a separate world from the real world that you get caught up in. In this game I literally lose track of time. I also like the way in which the fairy is used as guidance and advice to help the character move forward. In the beginning when I was trying to find the objects (sword and shield) I liked the way there were objects that helped me practice my moves which would later help me defeat my enemies. The bad element in Zelda was the way the camera was positioned when playing because there were times when I could not see where I was going. Another bad element was the graphics because there were times when objects looked blurry and I was not able to tell which objects I could grab and couldn’t grab.
I liked the level design of the game because they are very varied and bring a lot of interaction between the player and the game. Each level brings out more obstacles that help the player gain technique to be able to face other levels to come. In the Legend of Zelda levels vary based on the mission we have to solve.
The game creates conflict in varies ways. One of the ways is between the character and its enemies. Another conflict that the player faces is with finding objects that are required in order to pass on to the next part of the game. But overall the game keeps the player interested by creating more and more obstacles to overcome and by creating more missions. Most of the game is based on helping others and trying to prove that the character we are is strong, protective and is able to defeat his enemies.
Overall I don’t think there is anything I would change about the game because it is a classic that never gets old and keeps you wanting to play it!

Game Entry #1
SUMMARY:
In the Legend of Zelda the player is required to find objects (like swords and shields) to help protect and overcome obstacles that interfere with the characters goals. The objective of the game is to pass the levels and help those in need. As the player overcomes the obstacles we obtain more objects.
GAMEPLAY:
My emotional state when playing the game was excitement. I was really ambitious about trying to figure out what was going to happen next within each part of the game. I really wanted to overcome all the obstacles so that I could keep moving up to the next level of the game. I had played the Legend of Zelda a couple of years back and thought that it was a really fun game; playing it this time made me realize that the graphics are not as great as I thought they were. My favorite parts of the game are the characters. I really like how the characters are designed.
I really liked the game story because it keeps the player interested with what is going on and it makes the player keep going. I liked how all the characters help Zelda find his way. How they each have something important to say. Even though there is a lot of reading in the beginning of the game, it was still fun and interactive. My favorite part of the game was fighting the spiders and the flowers by throwing nuts at them with the sling shot. I liked the way every time I slashed the plants with the sword I would receive rupees that would add up and be useful as money when purchasing things.
While playing the game I faced a few obstacles where I was stuck and couldn’t find my way. At first it was hard trying to figure out the solution because the clues or hints are not always very helpful. For example, there was the time when I was inside the tree and I was trying to figure out how to open the metal gate, but eventually I figured out that I had to transfer the fire to the lantern fire thing. What made the game even more fun was having an audience because they were also interested in what I was doing. We were all trying to figure out the hints and find the objects. Overall, the game was addicting and fun to play.
