Gameplay
For my second session of Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction i am as happy as I was the first time. The story is getting more diverse and the maps and enemies are getting even more fun to play. The weapons are even more diverse than its predecessors. The wacky humor is still going strong and the whole feeling is that of a great game. I really liked using the whip weapon. Although I wished that it would have always been deployed so that while walking around you had a flowing whip in your hand.
That aside the gameplay is great. There are big rooms with many enemies at once, and they are all very diverse. Some enemies are easier to kill with electricity while others are better with fire, while others are better to just use your big ol wrench to whack them away. The game is fun, and takes some thinking at the same time.
Design:
The level design on this game is phenomenal. The background is always moving, the surroundings are super detailed and the layout of everything is great. In the game you feel like you are very free to do what you want, while you are actually confined. The way that there is a building here or a huge boulder there is very subtle yet defines the way the game plays out.
As far as gameplay design goes, it is a lot like its Playstation 2 brethren but I liked the super smooth and accurate camera of this one much better. The implementation of the Six-Axis controller while Ratchet is free falling is very cool. It is nice to see a game actually use the controls in a challenge oriented situation, instead of the Wii's very annoying, "shake to run, move up and down to swim" and so on controls. There is not much in the way of innovation but the game is great the way it is. I really enjoyed playing this game and am very glad to call myself a Ratchet and Clank fan.

Summary:
I am writing this gamelog on Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction which is an amazing adventure game for the Playstation 3. The game is the latest installment in the series. The two main characters in the game are Ratchet and Clank! Who would have guessed? Ratchet is a lombax, the last known one alive. He is accompanied by his best friend and co-start Clank, who is a small robot. Clank rides on the back of Ratchet and is a very key part to the game. By guiding Ratchet and clank through a bunch of amazingly detailed levels you are on a mission to solve the puzzle of the Lombax, and get rid of a pesky little bad dude.
Gameplay:
Right from the start the game play is excellent. The movement is really straightforward and simple. The graphics are amazing. The game really utilizes the Playstation 3's power. The background which has nothing to do with gameplay is always very active and moving. The colors are beautiful and the detail is very precise. You get right into the action. Within minutes of starting the game you are already let loose to go blast some enemies. The game really grabs your attention and sucks you in. The story is very dynamic and emerges more and more as the game progresses. One thing that is a key factor in the game is the amount of weapons that you can use, and the way that you can upgrade all of them immensely. I found myself very entertained and happy to be playing the game.
Another thing that is really nice is the way the game sets a cheerful and humorous mood. The bright colors and constant jokes are hilarious. When wandering around a level look around, or listen closely. The things that people say are super funny.

GAMEPLAY
After playing Wii Sports longer I have some comments. I feel that the gameplay gets dull after awhile if you are playing alone. There is no story involved to keep you going and going until you finish. I feel that to have a long and lasting game session you need to have friends all playing and going against each other. Competition is what really drive games. To have a game where you are competing not only on gaming ability but also in a physical way. This elevates the competitiveness side of things immensely. To have two people boxing against each other is actually very fun. They are both standing next to each while controller their character in the game and they are punching and moving around the play area. Wii Sports really is something new when it comes to interactive game play. With friends or at a party I think this is one of the best games that you could put on to play. Really fun.
DESIGN
The design of Wii Sports is interesting. It is a very minimal game other than the the movement and interactive control system. The graphics are just enough to get by. The game itself would never hold up if it were not for the controls.
The interesting things is that it works. The controls are enough to keep people playing and having fun with this game. The creators were able to get away with other things being minimal while having the control system be brand new and unique. It also helped that everyone who has a Wii should have got this game with it. Ti served as a great introduction to the control scheme and the system itself.
One thing that I would like to point out however is that as interesting and unique the movement and controller system is, it is far from perfect. To make the bat swing it is really just move the controller in the right direction at the right speed. It is like triggering a set control "button". I feel that the controls are actually very limiting.
It would be truly amazing if while you are waiting for the pitch, you move the controller a little, or you shift your weight to the left and the character on the screen displays your movements. When you swing it is precisely because your controller swung.

SUMMARY
I am writing my game long on Wii Sports. In Wii sports you can play Tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing. To play you use the unique controllers and actually do the movements in real life that you would like to see your character do. Wii Sports is packaged with every Wii Console. It is an introduction to the control interface and an introduction to the game console itself.
GAMEPLAY
The first time ever playing the Wii, I played Wii Sports. It is a very unique experience for gamers. Here you are used to using a controller with buttons and joysticks and then you are given a controller that responds to movement. So you leave the realm of mastery behind and enter into a whole new experience. In the beginning my timing was way off. For playing tennis, I would watch as the ball went past me as I would start to swing or I would swing way too early. This was just a practice thing. The learning curve is pretty small and not after too long I felt like a pro.
I really enjoyed boxing. I felt more involved and was very into the game. The game play is fun because the player is actually involved in a physical way. You are standing up, and are focusing on the screen. You move your whole body around and kind of forget that you look like a complete idiot to anyone else. It is very different than other games, you feel as if you are the character in the game.
What makes Wii Sports even more fun is the social aspect of it. It is a great social "party" game. It is a game that you can boot up and play with people who never have played it before. The experienced are not amazingly better than the newbies. Try doing that with Call of Duty 4!
It is a great introduction to the Wii's controller scheme and system. It shows off what can be done while not being too advanced or complex. It is a very good game to be attached to each console.
