GAMEPLAY
After playing Assassins Creed for awhile longer I got a better feel for the game. The controls are basic but go deep enough that there is a slight learning curve. The free roam maps are very fun. You are able to jump around and do amazing things. You are able to jump from huge heights and land in hay carts unharmed. You are able to climb impossible heights. Jump from building to building and kick peoples butts. I would say that is the most fun part of this game.
Another amazing aspect is the graphics. They are just so excellent that you cant help but look around at your surroundings. They are very detailed, and there is so much movement. The story is also getting interesting. You forget that you are in the future remembering the past, you just fall in line as an master assassin who was striped of all his rank and is now trying at redemption. While playing you know that there is going to be a long detailed story ahead of you.
DESIGN
The overall design of this game is pretty impressive. The hype going into it was correct this really is a great fun game. With impressive graphics and the amazing free roam interaction put into a game with a captivating story I would say that you have a winner.
That being said, this game is not for everyone. Some people love just being able to put a game in and play, this game is one that you need to be immersed in. You cant really multi task and play it. There can be no really loud outside interference. Also this is a one person game where you are really following a detailed story and cant give the controller to someone else without lossing some of the experience.
Overall, I am still playing it and I imagine that I will do so for awhile. I like it, but think that it is not for everyone. Though I do wish that these graphics become the new norm.

SUMMARY
I am writing about Assassins Creed for the Playstation 3. The game is a Role playing game. Before every playing the game, I knew quite a bit about it. There was major hype and very good reviews.
Games of today look more like movies than something that you are able to interact with. The game grabs your attention the instant you put the CD in the drive. The opening scene is amazingly detailed and shows an "Assassin" breaking up a gathering and then running away from soldiers only to disappear within a group of scholars (who look the same). The game play is very interesting. It is unique but very intuitive. The graphics are some of the best I have ever seen, and the amount of objects within the world that you can interact with is impressive.
GAMEPLAY
For the few first levels the game play is structured and half of the time you are in conversation with someone. This is to set up the very dynamic story. The story is interesting in itself. You are someone in the future who is attached to a machine reading his genetic code to remember memories from his ancestors. It is kind of weird going from a really high tech world into the far past.
This story is what keeps things going, or is at least why I am captivated. It seems weird but draws me to it. I am interested in finding out what happens. Plus, the graphics are amazing, and the character is pretty cool.
