Entry 2 for GoldenEye
Gameplay:
As I finished the single player I was still impressed. It still added to the game and kept me interested in playing more.
The multiplayer with the cheats was the kicker in the second half though. Playing paintballs is just as fun now as it was when I first played the game. Also, playing through all the levels on the different difficulties was fun as well, it forced you to not only master your character and the guns he had, but the terrain and the maps as well. You couldn't expect to master the levels for multiplayer unless you played them all multiple times through.
The story developed as it should, I mean it is following a James Bond film.
Although this game is very old it still kept me interested and involved, enough to make me want to beat it all in one night.
Design:
The graphics for the game were superb. For being such an old game, it definitely wasn't lacking in the graphics department. The sounds and soundtrack were nice as well.
Golden Eye is a linear game, but it still had great replay value. The design and the feel of just the first two levels will get you hooked into playing it more and more. The second level especially is a classic for me. In my opinion the design of this level paved the way for many great shoot 'em up games.
Although the game had a great replay value and had me emtionally attached enough to see it through till the end, the real money maker was the multiplayer.
The design of the multiplayer was nice because it let you customize it all the while keeping things competitive between players. It is also surprisingly easy to pick up and new players can join in and still have fun.

Entry 1 of GoldenEye
Summary:
You are a British secret service agent named James Bond, or 007. You are following the storyline of the film GoldenEye. Your mission is to stop terrorists from taking over a satellite to destroy the Earth.
Gameplay:
GoldenEye takes me pack to the days when I was younger, it was the first game that really had a great multiplayer and was always the neighborhood favorite. It was very competitive, but at the same time it was fun because it had great replay value. The single player game was also fun. It had a good story as it exactly followed the movie. Even to this day I still have fun playing this game, having no crosshair while being a fps is a big challenge and they pulled it off nicely while keeping it from being a nuisance.
As I said before, the multiplayer is amazingly fun. With the cheats menu you can have a blast doing everything from paintball to golden gun. It is even still fun to play in a college house 10 years later. It's ability to challenge your friends in multiplayer and still be as interesting as far more advanced games like Call of Duty 4, makes it even that more appealing.
