    Jun 1st, 2008 at 21:52:08     -    centipede (Arcade)

I like this game because it does not require a lot of skill and instructions. The only controls used in this game are the mouse, which enables the player to move left and right, and the space bar that enables the player to shoot at the centipede or other things coming down at the player. The game can take you for a great adventure by keeping you interested and focused the entire time.It is very fun and easy to learn, however the player has to really focus on the game and shoot as fast as possible in order not to get killed. It is important in this game to move around, and make important decisions, such as shoot at the centipede when you have an open area and no mushrooms around. The game is very exciting, one never knows what the outcome of it will be. The player can shoot the centipede and have it down when the centipede is half way down the field, or the player might loose a life because he/she moved too slow and the centipede got to him/her faster. Also there are things that the player needs to watch out for, such as spiders and fleas which make the game even more exciting. The player needs to be aware of what’s going on in the field at all times.I felt excited the whole time I played, as if I was addicted to it. I wanted to continue playing even after 1.5 hours, that’s how much I enjoyed it. The game never becomes boring because the player is constantly paying attention and trying to shoot as fast as possible in order not to get killed. Overall, this game introduces a player to excitement and fun that lasts.

    May 22nd, 2008 at 23:13:35     -    Amazing adventures-the lost tomb installer (Other)

This game is great. Imagine going on this quest and experiencing different adventures along the way. You need to complete 20 missions in order to find the Lost Tomb and collect 21 Scarabs that are hidden throughout the game. Each mission has a time limit and you really need to find the required objects before the time goes up. There are over 2000 hidden objects and you get to go through 22 unique Egyptian locations. Puzzles, pictures with clues and cave paintings really set this game apart. The game requires a sense of focus because the objects are hidden very well and they blend in with the background, so it is not easy to find them. This game is for someone who likes to concentrate and solve puzzles.

    May 13th, 2008 at 14:15:39     -    Katamari Damacy (PS2)

Katamari Damacy is a pretty good game, regarless of what many may say. The concept is easy and boring, you just have to roll over things and pick them up, but if you look beyond the "concept", there are different rules that need to be followed that make the game interesting. First, you can't roll the katamari over bigger things that the katamari itself. The katamari needs to be big enough to roll over specific objects. Then there is a time constraint. You can't just take your time and wonder around, you need to move fast and make fast choices on wheather or not you should pick an object. The katamari needs to be a certain size before you can get to the next level. If you play long enough, you'll be able to pick up cities, islands, etc, so you can imagine that the game gets more exciting the longer you play it. I recommend the game to everyone, and if at first you are bored, just keep playing. It eventually become fun.

    May 3rd, 2008 at 21:02:42     -    Guitar Hero (PS2)

Guitar Hero is the best music video game. I never played guitar in my life, and although it's not the same thing, I felt like I was really experiencing the real deal. I had problems at first trying to keep up with the notes, and it took 6 tries before I finished "I love rock and roll". The game can create real emotions.Very often I hesitated to press the notes on time, but once I got the hang of it I couldn't stop playing. The game is very fun and if one wants to make it seem very real, then standing up and imagining yourself in a rock concert really helps. It made me feel like a rock star. The game is addictive; you just want to play more and more music. I personally felt like a "hero" while playing. This game can take you to a total different place, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
