I AM A TOTAL IDIOT. For over a year now I have been in denial that my computer setup is a total gaming experience. In order to enjoy games at highest level, I have supped up my PC with overclockable CPU along SLI configuration. I did not forget about surround speakers carefully positioned around my 17” LCD, Yes, I repeat 17” LCD. I have spent a fortune on this baby over 3 years ago, and at the time it was a huge jump considering my 15” CRT. I believe that I am still paying it off on my credit card.
Anyway, last weekend I have decided to check out a new computer discount store by my house, and due mine and my other’s half surprise I came back home with a 22” flat monitor. I figured that I always wanted one, but because of mental reasons and financial obligation I never did so, however; this time was different; I was bribed by a powerful marketing tool “if something you can always return the product within 30 days”. lol
Did it ever happen to you when getting a something at the store that it turns out to be much bigger at home’s scenery? Same principle took place with me. When I have positioned this monstrum by my “old” monitor I literary started laughing and crying at the same time. But it was not till I have booted Half Life 2 when I realized how stupid I was. HOLLLY COW !!!!!, not only I will have to replay HL2 but every single game I havegot.

• Yesterday when I continued playing Half Life II I thought to my self that even thou this game is 4 years old + 5 years of development I am still quite impressed.
• I managed to play for over two hours (I should have studied, but since its my homework, what the heck )
o While playing I started experiencing some sort of loneliness. I guess this has a something to do with my anxiety lol
o I also observed me getting bored by simply killing same monsters over and over and over and over and over and over again. + Trivial puzzles intellectually did not challenge me in any way.
