Ok, looks like it's getting harder as I go. It's one of the things I actually appreciate compared to other Zelda titles today. Twilight Princess didn't show the kind of difficulty increase I'm used to in a game like the first Zelda. In that aspect, the first Zelda is better than the current one. I passed the second dungeon, and half way through the third. The enemies are getting harder. Now there are enemies that jinx your sword, enemies that you can't hit from the front but chases you so that only the front is showing, and centaurs that can shoot sword beams too. The level design is pretty simple too, especially between the dungeons. The only difference between each level is the number of rooms and the color of the interior. It is certainly missing the dungeon themes common in Zelda titles now. Its lack of a theme, however, makes it easier to concentrate on the enemies and not at the pretty scenery, especially considering the enemies are much harder. Still a great game after all these years. Now, let's see about getting past this dungeon.

Darn, my last entry wasn't registered, so I'll have to do it again... v_v This one will be very concise.
This time I decided to polish off my Zelda skills. The game, while being the simplest of the Zelda series to play, retains a somewhat high level of difficulty that presents a challenge to even the most veteran of players. This kinda backfires on itself because it can be considered way too hard by new players. I played through the first dungeon so I'll focus on that. The big challenge was to maneuver Link around to not die. I've died a few time just trying to move to the right position. Another challenge was the AI. The design has it so that they might have a pattern, but it's too random to bother figuring it out. So far so good, I'm on my way to the second level... Anybody remember where that was?
