The second go around went much better than that of the first. This time I chose Link as my character. I chose the same difficulty as the first go around, hard. I found that one of the most difficult battles I had was against the character that I played as because they attempted many of the same moves as me. I had a little better experience this time because of my character choice. It was interesting to see how big of a difference character selection had in my gameplay. Unlike with Fox I spent no time learning the moves because I already had experience with Link. The game moved along a little more quickly with Link. I found myself using many of his 'A' moves a great deal more than I did with Fox. I ended up exhausting my lives playing Metal Mario, one of the games characters that I have had difficulty with in the past.
The levels in this game are very well set up. No two are quite the same and it makes the gameplay more challanging as you progress through the stages by putting more obstacles in the way and taking away land that you can stand on. On the level vs. Donkey Kong I found myself utilizing the bucket underneath the stage many times to bring myself back on the playing field.

This game has always been fun. I rarely ever play the game in the single player mode. This time I chose Fox as my character. I never play with Fox and am not well accustomed to all of his moves. I played it on hard, something I would not likely do because Iam not too great at this game. The first level against Link was quite easy and I used it to get better with my specials. As the game progressed I found myself lacking the skills in order to win many of the matches. I in fact got lucky many times. One of those times was when the one kirby from the team of kirby's got a hammer and would have clearly taken one of my lives ended up somehow eliminating himself along with two other kirby's. I kept on playing and losing lives too quickly. The match vs donkey kong ended up taking two of my lives and left me with one left. I had been playing but I found myself unable to get the control over Fox that I needed. My controller 'A' button was sticking and gave me a great disadvantage throughout the campaign. I ended up losing my last life to Samus where I fell in the lava. I will try again, next time with a different character.
