After playing for another hour I began to play the levels on harder modes and trying to unlock the special cheats. I found this was the only real way to have a challenge. When I placed difficulty level higher I realized that the enemies didn't become any more intelligent you just lost more life everytime you were struck. I was still able to follow a group of soldiers from behind and then just walk up and strike them from behand with a hand chop. I don't think that would happen in more recent games on Playstation 2 or 3, or on Xbox.
The real reason for trying to unlock cheats was because it really placed more objectives in your hands. To try and complete a mission on hard under two minutes takes much more skill than taking your time. At the moment I am still attempting to finish the "Facility" on the 00 agent setting in 2:05 minutes or less. So far I have failed about 4 times mostly because I run out of time.

After playing Goldeneye 007 I found that the missions themselves were very easy to memorize. If you failed the first time you could go back and finish it easily because of the fact that nothing ever changed. The levels also never allowed you to explore as the path you were to take was always mapped out. The enemies in the game were not the smartest either. You could walk up to a group of guards shoot one and the others wouldn't even turn around. You would have to physically walk in front of an enemy for them to take notice. The game could have been more challenging if the shooting system wasn't self targeting. If you placed your gun anywhere near the enemy the gun would fire into the enemy. I felt as if i never really had to concentrate on aiming at all, just hold down the fire button and spin the joystick. I also didn't like that when you are hit by the enemy you slow down for a second. This caused for an awkward moment which usually caused you to be hit by consecutive shots.
