Let me start by saying I have definately played more than an hour of WoW in the last week. The characters in the game vary. The playable characters are very animateable and interesting, however, the NPC can be very lifeless. This is ofset by the interesting quests that they COULD give. Sometimes a quest feels liek an adventure, however, sometimes it feels like a waste of time (collection quests, grr). One element I really enjoy are the action bars, each ability has an icon associated with it and every action bar a button, so to use an ability one only has to press a button. Also, these action bars are rearrangeable to more customize gameplay. The areas in the game also vary in some areas the payer can go for minutes just trying to find an enemy, other times the player has to fight a few at a time. The game has a great flow since it does not really end. It keeps the player interested because the higher level areas are more interesting so everyone wants to get to a high enough level to go there. It is hard to describe what really keeps a player interested...
