After the long cinematics at the beginning with the Deku tree it was nice to venture out and get the ocarina of time. I began by exploring the world a bit ti get acquainted with the gameplay once more. I had remembered from the first time that I had played that I needed to go the the castle to find Zelda. So i did just that. I had forgotten that the day turns into night the longer you are out on the field so I spent the first night killing enemies while I waited for the sun to arise to that I could enter the castle. This is one of the things that I like about this game. It allows for events to take place at certain time and adds a whole new element to the puzzles that the game presents. At first I could not get into the castle because I had forgotten the puzzle but I then figured it out and so I didn't walk in front of the guards. I remember from the first time that I played this game and even now that these puzzles at the beginning add a sort of enjoyment to my game experience. I find them a little challenging but mostly they help me to figure out how the puzzles in this game are going to work. Finally after reaching the princess I got the letter and headed out of the castle and back into the world. I like the world in this game because it is one continuous one, instead of having to go into specific places to fulfill tasks, puzzles can be solved all around this continuous gameworld. So I explored a bit more. I then went into the ranch where I know that there are many puzzles to find. The first thing I did though was talk to the little girl and get Eponas song. I like the whole idea of using songs for puzzles because it adds a whole new element that needs to be fulfilled at different parts of the game. From there I went to the Kakariko village where I had remembered that the letter had to be taken. Once I got there I had to save the game because I had other things that I had to attend to.

I have played this game in the past. In the past I found that it was very difficult to figure anything out. However, this time around I am having a much easier time getting around. I began the game anew. I would have to say t hat i think this game has a very good storyline and that it in a way grasps me and makes me want to play more. The first thing that I did was find my sword for young link. The fairy offers a good amount of direction in the game, a thing that I did not truly realize when I had played many years ago. After finding my sword I proceeded to get my shield from the store for 40 rupees. From there I wandered around the little town. Once I got bored wandering I headed towards the Deku tree. The dungeon I found to be a bit more confusing and frustrating than the beginning. There are many puzzles that had to be solved in order to even get to the basement of the dungeon. However, this is one of the features of the game that I do like, although a bit frustrating at times it keeps the game ever-challenging. When I finally found my way to Queen Gohma I found that she was very easy to defeat and now I can finally continue on my journey out of the forest.
