I found that this game, even though it's so simple, it's really challenging. I can definetly see why this is one of greatest games of all time. Although the intsructions are simple, not to get hit and to destroy the enemy, it becomes pretty difficult to do this. You have to time your jumps just right in order to not touch the enemy. Even though there are hard parts to this game, there are also a lot of secrets and cheats that can really help you to beat the game. I think that there's a really good balance with the level of difficulty with this game and it's what keeps it so fin and entertaining.

The story for Super Mario Bros. 3 is that Bowser's children, the Koopalings, have stolen each of the Mushroom World Kings' wands and have turn them into an animal. You must defeat the Koopalings in order to get the wands back and change the kings back into his original form. I thought this story was pretty cute, and a change because it's not just about saving a princess anymore.
Your task is simple, to get through by destroying the enemy. The controls were straight forward and easy to use. The power-ups in this game made it really fun since you can fly instead of just running. This also made the game easy enough to get through some parts, but there were still challenges in this game. Although there were features that made it simple enough to get fairly far throughout the game, it was still hard enough to avoid getting hit, which created just enough challenge for you to want to play more.
