For my second video game playing session I decided to warp to the lava levels because I remember those were the ones that I had the most trouble with. I played one of the first of the boat levels and I got to battle against the cannons once again. I was watching a video from you tube once and it showed some guy bounce off all of the cannonballs to chain together a link of points. I tried doing this but I could never get myself to link more than four cannonball jumps in a row but it still gave me a significant amount of points. This level was great I felt like I was playing cannonball dodge ball. I also really liked playing against those guys who pop out of the deck and throw hammers into the air. I am glad that I played this level in its entirety and didn’t resort to using a P Wing to cheat my way through.

I decided to play Super Mario Bros 3 for NES because it is one of the all time greatest games. I wanted to start the game from the beginning so that I could once again get the feel for this great plat former. I made sure to get the first whistle as quickly as I could so I could warp to some cool levels. It was great playing against classic enemies like Goombas and the Piranha Plants but they really didn’t pose much of a threat to a player that is accustomed to the difficulty of newly released games. I made sure to fight through the first castle so I could once again use the fire flower and beat down Larry Koopa. I always remember how I would love to run as fast as I could with Mario through every Castle level and try to avoid getting hit once. At the end Princess awarded me handsomely with a P-Wing which I know will come in handy when I play some of the harder levels. I always save the P Wing for the extremely hard lava levels where the cannons keep shooting off, it is always much easier to fly over the top of the whole level.
