Another aspect of Smash Bros. is the way the levels and the environment make such a in depth fighting game, even harder, because the levels have the power to give a certain charachter an advantage. In this case, the level itself becomes an obstacle to overcome, as well as the fighters. An example of this is how in the level of Donkey Kong's jungle Japes, the area is very small and hard to use a running tactic. The level in this case, would help donkey kong because he is a slow charachter relying on close-up moves and combos to beat someone. Another level is Yoshi's Dream Land and it's size and objects. Since Yoshi does not have an Up B extra-jump move, there are clouds placed on the edge yo help fighters whose jump ability is limited, to get back on the field. In a big way, this game forces you to strategize beyond the move-set of each charachter and start thinking in many ways.

Super Smash Brothers was the first game I remember being fun even after I had beat the game and recieved the rewards. It is a fun multi-player most of all, and it re-invents the idea of a fighting game. In this particular game sessions I saw how much Smash Bros. contributes to making the fighting mroe enjoyable. The charachters, such as Samus, all have unique weapons to fight each other with. Samus uses a charching arm gun to shoot balls of energy at you, but this is one of many techniques you could use. Along side with adding depth to the fighting, are the unique kind of emotins generated on the players. Each charachter has a different move, but no one fighter completely dominates the other, it's a matter of how well each is trained in his or her charachter option. For example, I could have very good aim and technique in having Samus hit an opponent with a energy blast, but a charachter like Fox, who can use a reflecting shield to send the ball back at me might have the advantage in that sort of situation. When put in a multiplayer situation, this game is very complex.
