One of the best features of Goldeneye is the huge variety of weapons. There are over twenty weapons available to the player in the game. And there is new ability I which player is able to keep and fire two weapons at a time. As well there is large variety of mines including proximity mines and remote mines. For game of the late nineties Golden Eye has a pretty advanced multiplayer featuring a vast variety of levels weapons and the types of multiplayer games such as last agent standing, Golden Gun etc.

The Nintendo 64 game Goldeneye 007 utilizes the plot line of the James Bond movie Golden Eye. But for some reason there incredibly small plot development in the game by itself. This is probably because a player has already watched the movie Golden Eye and knows the plot line. Yet there is a brief mission background in the beginning of the every level but other than that the plot is never told to the player.
