Gameplay
The first half was pretty much the same and the second half. The games got more repetitive, boring, and more frustrating. Wii Play could be acknowledged as a Wii Sports sequel because of their similar graphics, but the games are not nearly as fun. I found myself playing billiards and ping pong over and over again because the other games that involve Mii characters were too lackluster and similar. Wii Play was worth it because of the extra controller, but the game itself was nothing more than a demo game.
I can't really say much more without repeating myself because the gameplay was that drawn out and tiresome. The game initially had that warm Wii Sports feeling but lost it soon after I tried each game multiple times. This game should be played with another person, otherwise you'll grow weary of it quickly.
Design
The graphics were pretty much the same as Wii Sports, but once again the games not nearly as fun. The games that graphically stood out the most to me were the billiards and the air hockey. The billiard balls the cue were pretty crisp in detail and the air hockey had very vibrant colors and trippy sounds. There wasn't a whole lot of attention to detail, but it didn't belittle the gameplay value whatsoever.
After playing the game for awhile the graphics made me grow weary and made me want to play something that's physically more appeasing to the human eye such as Resident Evil or Call of Duty 4. Of course Wii Play is always fun for people who don't own a Wii, but for hardcore gamers graphically and in terms of gampe play it would not be the right game for them. For graphics I give Wii Play 4/10 just because there wasn't a whole lot of detail utilized.

Summary
Wii Play is a 1-2 player game that offers a variety of games to play, similar to that of Wii Sports. Games included in Wii Play are: Billiards, Duck Hunt, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, and many others. This game, like Wii Sports, was intended to get the player more used to the unique controls of the Wii Mote. The bonus that comes with the game is an extra Wii Mote, which comes in handy if you're trying to play with a friend.
Gameplay
I purchased this game a few days ago, mostly because it came with an extra controller, the game itself was just a nice little accessory. I do research when I purchase games, and many of the reviews I read for Wii Play gave the game a pretty sub par rating, but still I was optimistic. When I first started playing the game I noticed a feature similar to that of Wii Sports in that the Mii characters are utilized once again, which I thought was a really nice touch. However when it comes to video games, it takes more than just cute little characters to win me over.
I started out playing the billiards game, which started out pretty much with me missing every single shot, but once I got used to the controls the game was much easier. Satisfied with the first game I decided to try Air Hockey. The cool luminescent graphics were physically appeasing, but the game itself was so so, and didn't capture the the feeling of real air hockey. So after trying out two games, one being fun and the other being...not so fun, I thought I should give Ping Pong a try. Once again the game was so so, and couldn't capture the true feel of the real-life game. Wii Play is a game more suited for two people for friendly competition, but when it came to single play it got tiring really fast.
