summary: For this gamelog I played Super Smash Brothers. You use a control with multiple buttons that control a character of your choice. You can pick certain characteristics for your character like what weapon for them to have, and then proceed to choose what level to play on. You can play with a maximum of four players and if you don't have enough players you can play against the computer. You then proceed to attempt to kill the other characters to win the game.
gameplay: As this was once again my first time playing a new game, I was a little overwhelmed. Everyone else I was with had played this game religiously in their childhoods so I was a little outmatched, but I was ready for the challenge. I chose to play as "Kirby". He was cute and pink and I liked him. I soon learned that he had very cool powers. By pressing the "B" button I could swallow my opponents and steal their powers which was very cool and helpful.
As I continued to play the game, my confidence continued to elevate. I was not doing nearly as bad as I had expected I would. I was actually in first place for a portion of our playing experience and I felt amazing. But as we continued, I began to notice my competetors skills improving. I guess they began remembering the tricks of the trade that they learned in their childhood. But by the end of the game I felt very satisfyied with my performance and I couldn't wait to improve my skills.
