SUMMARY:
In Sonic and Knuckles, you can play as Sonic or Knuckles and run through levels really fast colecting rings and stomping baddies. Both Sonic and Knuckles are after Dr. Robotnik for their own reasons, and you chase him through the levels.
GAMEPLAY:
I really liked this game when I first started playing it. It took me back to the years of playing the demo at Toys R Us, and the design was pretty nice with the bright colors and whimsical feel. I thought it was really fun to go really fast through the levels without a care, and I loved the way that there was more than one path to take.
This game was interesting because it was unlike any other platformer, in that you move really fast and the game is a blast if you want it to be. I was able to talk to my friends and be like, "Hey, check this out!" and fly through a level. I didn't, however, like the way that I would always crash into things and lose every single one of the coins I had just collected! (You need coins to survive, and if you get hurt with zero coins, you die!)
