Game Entry #2:
Gameplay:
I played the first entry for about 10 hours and at this point in time I am at about 30 hours into the game. In this game I really enjoyed doing the Hunts. The Hunt system is where you go and get a bill that someone has placed and then you track down the person who posted it. For one reason or another there is a monster giving the person who posted the bill trouble. You will then after talking to the person you will go kill the monster and come back. When you get back they will pay you and give you some items for your time and work. I make it a point to do all of the hunts I can and I have spent a lot of time to lvl up and make sure I can handle doing all of them. I now have all 6 people and because it is so easy to switch them in and out of battle I make sure to week them all the same lvl; they are currently lvl 28. I have been enjoying the game a lot but I am taking a break from it to play some other games atm. This game reminds me a lot of FFXI and gave me the urge to play that more.
Design:
I would say the game design elements that stick out for FFXII the most is the party/battle/license systems. First off the battle of the game are someone interesting at first but can get very boring. Because I like to program I liked the gambit system a lot so I made sure I used it to is fullest. This means the not matter who I had out in my party all I really needed to do is run the leader of the group around and the gambit system would do the best. I would say one of the main things that kept me playing is the characters, the clan system, the licenses and the story. I really didn't have to do anything in the battles unless I went and did a hunt so I decided to try and get my people's licenses maxed out and my clan rank as much as I can. This means that I would have to go around and kill a lot of one enemy so that I can get the data on it and therefor bring up my clan rank. I really liked the character and I enjoyed the narrative story. The license system at first was annoying because I didn't know where anything was or what to do with each character but once I got a feel for what I actually wanted my people to do it opened up a lot of potential work for the license grid. A thing that makes this game stand out is that if one of the characters in your party is dead or not being attacked by the enemy you can switch them out for someone else in menu. This style make it so that you really have a 6 man team and if you use them to their fullest then you feel a lot less restricted. Overall I liked this game a lot but I kinda got bored with it and I will definitely come back to it later and finish it off because of the nice characters and story.

Game Entry #1:
Summary:
FFXII started off as an intro lvl to help you get an understanding of the game. You started off with someone special and then later switched. The main guy is looking to be a sky pirate but you soon learn that is just a facade. It is an average style RPG with real-time battle like FFXI.
Gameplay:
First off the fighting in this game is based off FFXI and the world is set in FFTA. I really like the fighting style in FFXI and therefore I also like this fighting style. It is real-time so the character can do certain actions and it has a certain amount of time for them to do that action. There is a gambit system, which is a lot like a set of if statements if "this" then do "this". The gambits are how you control the other two people in your group without telling them what to do every second. The further you get in the game the more actions you can have the gambits say(ie "this"). The abilities in this game must be first bought off of a license grid for each person and then bought in the shop(for everyone) before they can do anything. This license system is slightly annoying but i got used to it. The beginning of the story took a while to get all the characters that you would use but when you did it opened up a lot for things for you to do. In the first game play I only obtained 3 of the 6 people but I can only use 2 of them at the time.
