As recommended by another member here at GameLog, I gave Façade another and tried something different: instead of having an active role in the lives' of Grace and Tripp, I was more passive in my interaction with them. This time I managed to take a seat in their sofa and stayed there without having an interaction with either of them. While seating here, Grace was close to the window and Tripp was further away (close to the door). Because of my proximity to Grace, I assumed that simply facing her and asking her questions without starting the question with her name ("Grace, what...?") she would reply, unfortunately many times the conversation was interrupted by Tripp unnecessarily.

Play the game from beginning to end but first looked at a video on youtube about it. Chose Ashley as the character name. Many times when the characters did not understand what I was trying to say they reply by asking me a question requiring a yes or a no. It's too obvious that the logic of the game it's that it's looking for keywords to determine the next action.
