I played it for the second time and spend about half an hour trying to finish the mission. In this mission CJ goes to his brother and they go around town painting gang signs on the other gang tag. It was sort of frustrating because it was kind of hard to find all the gang signs since you had to look everywhere. Once you get two tags you go to a different neighborhood where your rival gang tries to shoot at you. So you have to kill them. It was sort of fun but from an ethics perspective i dont think it can be justified. The fact that you have to kill someone to show your dominance seems like a silly reason.
A very positive side about this mission is the fact that you are sticking up for your gang. This will help develop a sense being in a team for kids. The character CJ follows what his brother tells him to do in this mission. This shows respect and his ability to follow rules. This is a good quality that kids can pick up from this video game.

I started playing gta sanandreas. The first thing i noticed about this game was its use of stereotypes. This game is based on a black character named CJ. The first cut scene is him arriving at the airport for his mothers funeral. As he was taking a cab to his place. He gets stopped by the cops. Just like any other stereotypical cop. This guy acted like a tough guy taking his money and throwing him in a rival territory. The language used in this game is kind of ridiculous but it shows the type of gang or community CJ belong to. So it fits right in. The game is so stereotypical that if you stop playing for couple of minutes the camera will automatically starts focusing on other in the areas such as a girl walking by. I thought that was pretty hilarious.
The first mission i played was meeting CJ's family. All of a sudden the rival gang starts attacking them. So the mission's objective was to get out of there on a bike. All you had to do is dodge the bullets and follow your brother to your house. There wasnt much you have to do in this one. CJ was just running for his life. The second mission i played was with Ryder. First CJ goes to the barber shop to get a hair cut. I thought it was hilarious that he could grow beard within a second. Or have an afro but once you get the haircut you are supposed to go to the pizza place and eat. While you are eating Ryder tries to rob the place and completely messes it up. So you have to run back to his car and go home. This mission seemed like a mission teaching you the basics of where to get a haircut and so on. CJ didnt try to rob the place however he tries to help his friend out by getting him out of there which allows him to gain respect. I think it was the right choice.
