During my last half hour of game play I was not able to beat the game but still was able to learn a lot. While walking through the hallways, I tried to avoid battles with other students but it was hard because they are constantly walking around in random directions. Although the dead bodies were represented by small pixalated figures, it was still very disturbing. Even after my experiences of playing GTA and all the killing in that game, I found that killing innocent students affected me more. I think it was because this game was based off of true events, and it kind of recreates the moment once you see the dead bodies in the hallways and classrooms. From an ethical perspective, none of the Eric or Dylan's decisions can be considered "morally right". Utilitarians would not agree with their actions because no one was happy with the outcome, except Eric and Dylan. Kantianism says what you want is not important, rather you should focus on what you ought to do. Eric and Dylan wanted to get revenge on those teased and picked on them, but they knew that what they were doing was not morally right.

My second time playing the game became a lot more violent. Even though it was not as graphic as current video games the actions were. I finally started to kill students and teachers. I have to explore multiple class room and "kill as many fu*kers as i can" trigger some interesting cut scenes and flashbacks which explore the psychology of Eric and Dylan and serves to provide them with empathy instead of the media's view of the boys as inhuman. You get to see their point of view and not just see them as evil beings. Also I found playing an antagonist a interesting difference as compared to other games. Usually in games you have to save princess peach, defeat the enemy, or be the winning team but in SCM you are the opposite which is a good change.

Super Columbine Massacre is a game I would never have played until this assignment. So far I am at the point where I have to plant the propane bombs in the cafeteria. You play they characters of the shootings in their perspective. It was quite disturbing to me how the boys felt that they were doing the right thing. Also it shocked me hoe easily they attained weapons. I found it interesting that the Marilyn Manson CD and the Doom game gave the characters more power because the media claimed that they influenced the boys in their actions. Ethically the story of the game is immoral but he game itself is not. It is just showing how the events played out in the point of view of the shooters.
When I started playing this game I got what I was expecting but my reaction was different from what I was expecting. This game is violent and disturbing but it shows the reasons why Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold did the horrible act which I did not truly understand before
