It is a bit difficult to play this game. This may be because of the graphics and because of the view you play in. I read somewhere, I think it was on the page where you download the game, that this game was created in this format because the simplicity in the design lessens the violence that the game is based on. I don't think that this lessens the violence. While playing, you must enact what happened the actual day of the shooting. You have guns and bombs, and you have to go through the library and cafeteria just like the shooters did. Of course, the worse part, you go around throwing bombs and shooting around, just like what happened in real life. I understand that you play a game to play and complete the game, but this game makes players, me at least, think about what happened the day of the shooting. Also, when you go around shooting and throwing bombs around, they people in the game run around panicking. Those images in the game make me imagine how the victims that day must have been running and ducking for cover to survive.
I think the problem with this game is that it offends the parents of the kids who died that day. I feel this game makes them relive the violence and mayhem that happened. Even worse, players go around as the guys who carried out this tragedy and are forced to re-enact what happened that day.

When hearing the title to this game, the first thought that came to my mind was how could anyone make a game like this. When I went to download the game, I read through some of the material on the page. I read that many people would initially be upset and object to this game. But after reading further I noticed something that stood out, "Yet we do not make the same assumption about any other medium: a documentary on the Columbine massacre, or a novel, or a New Yorker essay would, a priori, be treated with respect, at least until the viewer or reader had experienced it, after which a judgment might be made as to its merits." This is very true and I never figured a game can be viewed like this. And so after reading this statement, I put my thoughts about this game aside and played.
The first thing that stands out about this game are the graphics. They are very simple and they are similar to the graphics of the first Nintendo. I understand that this is a game, and as a player, my objective is to play the game in hopes of finishing the game, but I still find it a little odd starting to play this game.
